Wikileaks outs Stratfor - ain't private enterprise grand? Not content with building a network of corruption around the world, they also ttempted to corrupt the financial markets as well.

This is one operation that I hope gets rolled up and its informants prosecuted and jailed.

There is also a t least one list of their informants. I hope they are being tracked down as we speak.

I doubt there will be any serious action taken against the heads of the company but they need to be at the very least shut down.

On the one hand, Stratfor seems like a bunch of d-bags.

On the other... I have to wonder if Assange & co. are intentionally working in favor of the interests of Islamic radicals and other interests against the West.

So far, the focus of their leaks have been predominantly Western. I've yet to see them provide much dirt on countries like China or Russia.

That seems like more than just a coincidence.

The need for publicity "dirt" on China and Russia is not very high.

The USA provides THAT dirt every day.

It looks like McCain actually has some dignity.

It also looks like voter fraud is a legitimate issue that is being dodged by the Democrats blocking voter identification requirements.

    Freedom of information....bring it on.
Corrupt systems will not stand the test of time. If we want permanence, we have to be sustainable.
    Good work.

CEO and Founder of Stratfor, George Freidman. has just resigned. He is going to need a good lawyer to stay out of jail.

Surfing , get back in the loop .
It's difficult to dish dirt on countries or groups , if , and in this instance , there is little or no dirty washing .
Should W have made up a few scandals to balance out matters ?
Among the many wicked acts , is the predicted news that Julian Assanges was set up as World's Most Wanted Man , the moment the US knew it had been compromised .
This man has been hunted like a dog , when his only reward should be a Nobel Prize .
It would be nice to know that some of the Red Necks and Hilly Billies here , who cannot think for themselves , could now see what fools they are , and were , for labelling and pre-judging Julian .
Unfortunately brain damage is near permanent for most of these Lulus .

Do you honestly believe China and Russia are more ethical than us?

I mean, if you do believe that, you might as well move to either. The U.K. isn't that different from us, so if you truly believe that the U.S. is this much dirtier than the other two... Well, you might as well move out of the West.

If I actually believed that myself, I know I would.

I love it when the Bully nation tries to find things wrong in other places in order to justify its evil nature .
Is it two or three wrongs that make a " right" in your book ?
Russia is no longer a power of much consequence . Take out Oil and Gas and I suspect it's economy size is not even in the global top 20 .
China is so much smarter than the US that the comparison is unrewarding . Stealthily they have bought most of central and southern Africa and secured their Oil by setting up a direct pipe line with Russia .Soon they will take Mongolia which balances on an ocean of Oil and other goodies .
They must piste themselves laughing when they review US foreign policy and how much it pays weekly for wars they never win ?
But neither of them career round the globe Terrorising countries through invasion and devastation .
As for the UK being like you . God help us .

Not to mention China or Russia will assassinate you like pimple. They don't have to play by any rules that we do. If China for example, has someone killed, what can anyone do about it? Complain? Will their people take great offense? Will their media try to investigate it all and "out" the lawbreakers? No & No. China controls most of its people like robots. They have no REAL media or outlet for their people to complain or get information from.

Assange isn't stupid. He knows he can ^%&$*# with us because we have some actual morals. Imagine if some security leaked from China?? You think anyone involved would be breathing the next day? Nope.

If you think about it, it's safer to criticize the West then someone like Russia and China. We retaliate against Wikileaks using the judicial system. China and Russia would probably use murder.

You're right that China knows how to play it smart. They're better at this game than the rest of us. We should definitely follow their example.

It doesn't make them more ethical though.

Granted, I know you can't resist any opportunity to criticize us. I can't blame you for resenting us, since we basically manipulate your system for our gain.

I think Litvinenko gives us an idea of how the Russian system works.
