Sure it does. You don't get to visit the white house 35 times in less than 4 years unless you are involved with Obama and his administration.

This is exactly why liberals are so out of touch with everything. Some women do want to just be moms. Many women just want to have a family and stay home to raise them. Not all, but many do.

Being poor and struggling to raise kids and being rich raising kids is still raising kids. When you are a mom its being a mom. I love how all you guys want to sit there and claim that you know what it is like to be a mom or a woman. hilarious.

I love how the left believes a woman is more of a woman, if she had children, with having no way to be able to raise them in the first place? wow

Yeah, the $100 MILLION his daddy started him off with really made him and Ann scrimp and suffer in the early years!

The point of the comment is that Ann Romney has NO IDEA about economics and social issues for a woman and mother in mainstream society.

I am sure Ann can well advise ANY women on the best way to select the morning and evening nannies, where to find a good chef, how to get your kids into an excellent top-rated private pre-school no matter how bad a brats they are, and the best $12,000 computer controlled masturbatory toys to comfort yourself while hubby is out making his $100 million into $400 million dollars!

But those are not the issues facing most voting women.

You abject bigotry is well-known but you're going for some sort of record. Next you'll be saying the Barack Obama can't understand people who have to have a real job and go to work. Oh, wait, never mind. You couldn't possibly say that. Well, perhaps we could say Barack Obama doesn't have a clue on what it's like to grow up black in American. That would be true.

But, to the orginal question, President Obama apologizes only for things others have done. If he's involved he never apologizes. So, no, he won't apologize to Ann Romney.

    Your comment doesn't make sense.

First, I AM a woman. . .and I AM a mother. And I was diagnosed with cancer.

And. . .the last time I checked, it wasn't the LEFT who was trying to force women to have children they could not afford to have. It wasn't the Left who accused women who used contraception or, in the worse case, who made the difficult decision to have an early term abortion, to be "sluts" or "prostitutes."

And it wasn't the Right who was advocating for health care coverage for children, even children with pre-existing condition.

And it wasn't the LEFT who argued that gay marriage should not become legal because gay people can't have children the "natural way," which obviously means that couples who do not have children are considered"less" worthy than couples who do!

Hypocrisy is so deep seated among the most extreme Right that it would be laughable if it wasn't so sad!

How was President Obama involved in the Hilary comments? And, although he had NO REASON to apologize (because it wasn't an insult, he didn't make the comment, nor did he encourage that comment to be made, and Anne Romney is a public figure by her own choice, which wasn't the case when a PRIVATE citizen was accused of being a slut and a prostitute) Obama still made a point of making clear that he believes that every mother is a working woman, and that there is no harder work than being a mom.

What else did you expect him to do?

How was President Obama involved in the statements of a woman who has visited the White House over 30 times, worked for the DNC, and is closely connected to the Democrats, the current administration, and the campaign? Gee, I don't know.

If President Obama had no responsibility and it was strictly a comment made by Hilary Rosen he would have apolotized, for her. He does that. He will apologize for anything for which someone else is responsible.

    I'm sorry--see that's an apology--if I didn't take your post seriously.

Let's make something very clear: Whether or not you take any of my posts seriously is a totally moot point for me!
I am not very interested in your posts either, so no need to apologize!

But most of all, NO reason for President Obama to apologize. But he did what a gentleman would do. . .which Romney and the GOP didn't find it in their heart (or brain) to do when Limbaugh REALLY insulted a PRIVATE CITIZEN: Obama went on record to say that ALL mothers work, and that their work is the hardest work there is.

If that's not enough for you. . .go back to your bosses at the GOP and ask them why they didn't think it was worth apologizing when one of theirs, A REAL spoke person and "figure head" for the GOP called a woman a SLUT And PROSTITUTE

By the way, based on another thread's op, it seems like Romney didn't think that much of "stay at home" moms 4 months ago. . . but then again. . he was probably NOT talking about "stay at home" moms who have 24/7 staff to do their job . .but poor mom who can't afford not to work!

So what? Has she been made a porte-parole for the administration? Is she being paid by the Democratic Party?

What about freedom of speech? And. . what SHE said was not an insult, but a poorly worded TRUTH.

Unlike Limbaugh's sewer mouth!. . .and HE gets to be a key note speaker at the GOP convention!. . .

What hypocrisy. . .but it is pretty standard coming from the extreme Right!

So what? The woman visited the white house 35 times and its a so what? sure she can say whatever she wants but the fact of the matter is the democrats hate women. and hate stay at home moms. They rather the state raise their kids than mothers.

Democrats aren't the ones trying to force Women on what they can and can't do with THEIR OWN bodies. Your party is. Republicans are just pure evil.

No they aren't. Forcing what? You going to bring up abortions? Myself and most of those like me are not about banning abortions, but about protecting the rights of the unborn. I don't want to tell women to do anything with their bodies, so stop with your bs arguments.

This woman totally (*)(*)(*)(*)ed up and said something really stupid. This woman visited the white house 35 times. Obama should have called Romney and stated that he did not agree with what was said like he did with Fluke. The fact is Obama is hypocrite. move along
