Oh wow! Infected with a LIVE virus, you say? Our immune systems must have no idea how to handle those!

Uhh, what difference does it actually make to the average person if the end result is exactly the same?

Yes a live virus that can kill you have you not been watching the news? Earth to Ethereal, people having been dying from contracting the LIVE COVID virus. That's why we try to vaccinated people with the killed virus or parts of it, so they don't DIE from the live virus before their body create and then replicate an antibody before the virus wrecks their body so much they DIE.

    Understand how it works now?

At least 99.5% of people who are infected with COVID don't die. The vast majority of COVID cases are asymptomatic or mild.

A tiny percentage of the population that is already extremely old and extremely sick and who are probably going to die soon anyway.

The chances that the average person will die from a live COVID virus is virtually zero. They have about as much chance of being struck by lightening.

I don’t know where you are getting lost. One is a vaccine, and the other is not.

You have been innoculated with the real deal.
You don't need to be innoculated with particles or attenuated virus.

In case you were unaware, vaccines inoculate you

    I have not
I've not been infected with Covid, so no. but I'm glad you agree there is no vaccine for Covid 19, as you claimed.

If I've never contracted it, I'm not inoculated. That's why we have vaccines in the first place. Do you know anything at all about virology?

odd statement considering I'm having to explain the difference between a vaccine, and being immune from a disease after contracting it. It's not my fault you made a demonstrably false statement, and got called on it.

You dont have to have clinical disease to develope immunity. Tell ma again about all of the virology knowledge you possess?

But if they do it is from a live virus but it's not just about dying it's about CONTRACTING in the first place. Most people don't die from the flu but it is highly reccomended you get vaccinated. Most people don't die from Shingles or Pnuemonia yet I have been vaccinated against both.

Hey but go ahead and get vaccinated with a live virus to build your immunity so you don't get sick from the live virus and die. I'll prefer the dead one myself.

uh, you can't develop an immunity to a virus you've never contracted, as you have no antibodies for that virus. Again, it's not my fault you made a demonstrably false claim (that there is a vaccine and someone took it)

There are live viruses inside you right now. The average healthy person has five live viruses living inside them at any time. Some healthy people have as many as fifteen live viruses inside them. But it's nothing to worry about because we have these things called immune systems that exist to defend our bodies from viruses, bacteria, etc.

Yes, there is a clear semantic difference. I'm asking what actual difference it makes. Clearly, you have no answer.

the difference is one is a vaccine and one is not. The vaccine does not infect you with the live virus. That is the difference.

no. infecting someone with the live strain of a virus places their life in danger. A vaccine does not.

Walking out your door every day places your life in danger. Thankfully, it's a very small amount of risk that can be managed using common sense. The same logic applies to live viruses. Most people have nothing to worry about.

And despite the pharmaceutical propaganda that attempts to downplay the risks associated with vaccination, there is ample evidence showing that they come with their own risks, including possible death.
