How? The lawful president sends a verbal letter of introduction to another nation's leader. It's good manners.

So it's about putting Democrats, hopefully the ones in unsafe districts, on the record. That's fine.

Those Democrats are currently on recess and meeting with the constituents that decide whether they will keep their job. No need to rush them back before the recess officially ends.

I dunno what you're referring to. I was discussing the President's telephone conversation with the head of the Ukrainian government.

Because the longer this goes on, the more bad information that comes out.... it's completely a great strategy for Trump to push for any voting now...

But Nancy says no, so that's the end of that...

I bet Trump finds it a little sexy to have a woman completely in control of his future..

"President Trump mentions you, AG Barr, by name as providing an assistance into the investigation of Joe Biden. The President is also being accused of an abuse of power by requesting a foreign power investigate his domestic political opponent, Joe Biden. You are a fact witness into whether that happened or whether any other pressure was exerted to force their hand."

Do you see even the mere appearance of a conflict there?

False charges do not create an appearance of conflict of interest. False charges create an appearance of disingenuousness on the part of the persons making the false charges.

    They're in full protect mode.

Yes, we know that they're false charges.

I'd like the discussion to center around the degree to which this latest hoax is comical.

How Pythonesque is this hoax? I think it's very Pythonesque.

I assume you believe that Trump calling a foreign leader and asking them to investigate a political rival who may run against Trump is OK?

I think that you are trying to make a seemingly nefarious connection between two unrelated facts.

No, I asked a question. What I am trying to do is get you to talk about those “actual events” you spoke of earlier. Please cut to the chase.

I did; in a prior post. You quoted it. This clown show is an example of Democrat self-parody. It's ridiculous, absurd, and ludicrous.

The conversation between the leaders has been released. It's there for all to see. Nothing untoward happened.

    End of story.

What gives the president or anyone else the right to order a witness not to testify as our legal system requires. Is this not witness intimidation????

End of story for you. As I am not an expert on Federal Law and I doubt that you are either, I have no idea if what Trump did was or was not illegal. But if it turns out that it is not, then my position is that it should be. Politicians using the Office they hold to investigate political adversaries is to take a step towards becoming a banana republic. Criminal investigations of political opponents should be done by the DOJ, State Department, CIA or NSA, not the White House.

Why has Trump been investigated? Is he not a "political adversary"?

    Your argument is one-sided.

    Your argument is bogus/bullshit.

He is being investigated for talking to a foreign leader and asking him to investigate the Biden’s. Yes, Trump is a political adversary to the left.

My argument is not one-sided, it is focused. Do not assume me to be an ally of the left. I will join you in throwing rocks at the lefts glass house as they are every bit as hypocritical as the right is.

You are hopefully smarter than trump.

Why is taunting and asking Democrats to hurry up and vote on an official impeachment inquiry a good strategy?

If you had anything, you'd have impeached already
