Well there's actually only big two now Chrysler exists only as a brand of stalantis. In the 1920s there are more car manufacturers because this was relatively new technology. Not the car but the car with a gasoline powered internal combustion engine. I like the movie about Tucker too but no he wasn't crushed by The Big Three he was but that's because they were enormously better than him. What really hurt Tucker was he was selling car he didn't have manufactured yet. He was selling car he didn't even know he could manufacture yet. But in all reality some of Tucker's inventions live today. It wasn't that he made a lesser car it's that he didn't make them. Studebaker went gully up because they weren't keeping up same with Packerd. I remember seeing this 1950s model Packard I had a straight 8 engine in it. That's why they went under they weren't innovating that was 1920s crap. In the v8s that you could get in Chryslers or Fords could rev higher produce more energy and have more power with smaller displacement.
The powers-that-be are going to have to figure out what to do with the armies of automobile mechanics forced out of work since EV’s are much simpler to service and maintain.
