Didn't you watch the video? They were getting training on if a shooter came in. Anyways, you can only go so far with the training. Its not as if you are going to be able to remember all your training when things go down. Security is more about prevention, and acting as a deterrent. The idea that everyone can be armed at anytime, is a larger deterrent than having one or two security guards that can easily be disabled first before focusing on others. Or you end up with a police officer/security dude hiding because he is too scared to act. It is better that they have the ability to protect themselves than to rely on others.
I imagine there are cases where they would do it if a person is an obvious criminal but will get away with it unless the cop manipulates the evidence. I am not sure that they would seek out completely innocent people unless there is some personal animus. I cannot imagine it being about power. I imagine power would be more exerted through physical abuse and not planting evidence. I guess it might be used to protect the cop in the court of law for their use of force. Even so, its rare. Most people who have issues hate cops are people who blame others for their problems. Drug and alcohol addicts very commonly accuse others for their problems. Its never an issue with their own drug and alcohol abuse, its the cops fault for arresting them, kind of attitude. You also have a culture of cop hate and people being taught to believe that all cops are power hungry and so you got these people who are obstinate and don't listen to the cops and follow the procedures. This escalates these situations as well. I cannot feel sorry for idiots like that except that its the culture that encourages it so I have to admit that its not completely their fault they acted like idiots when getting confronted by police.
Yeah. But I’m lucky. It wasn’t too bad. Just alcohol on campus. Didn’t even effect me at all. But I know people who have it worse than me.
It wouldn't bother me if they have hand guns. If they were the idiots who feel a need to have their AR15 in a single point sling at the ready like the tools I have seen walking around Target and the like, I would probably pass.
I fired the military Armalite 15 and later the civilian version. I enjoyed firing both. I shot so much when in the Army to just blow off rounds is less interesting now. But it is fun.
They wouldn't be fun if they caused hot coffee to spill into your crotch when they knocked crap over.
Do you think those weapons kick? If you want kick, try the 30.06 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight. That kicks.
I have never shot a thirty ot that didn't kick regardless of the manufacturer and somewhere floating around my family is a ruger 44 super blackhawk that will leave your hands buzzing as well, but at least it won't ever drag through my grits at the Shooters Grill.
The Winchester Model 70 Featherweight is a classic now provided it was made pre 1964. And it has a very powerful kick. Due to the super light weight of the Rifle. It is not the ammo, it is the way the rifle feels like a .22 but punches you in the shoulder like a Amtrak train. Mine was shot by a boy one time and he was scooted off his seat into the dirt back of him. I had a .44 cal. magnum Ruger Black hawk and it was milder than the rifle was.
The Featherweight version of the Winchester Model 70 is celebrating its 66th birthday. It is one of the finest standard-production big-game rifles of all time. Mine came from the factory at 6.5 pounds. Later I added a good quality scope to it. Mine was a pre 1964 which has the Mauser action. Later versions do not.
if you lived here in the USA the chances are pretty good you would have already eaten in a restaurant with armed employees having never known it
You should give women more and more credit for intelligence I'm sure they wouldn't just mosey on up to a 10-year-old and put their gun half right in their face
That's from a website: "This is one of the most taboo and risky forms of BDSM play. The gun takes the place of a penis in most acts, but can also be used as a prop weapon in extreme edgeplay scenarios." https://www.kinkly.com/definition/10116/gunplay
