A friend of mine once told me that you can find some giant human-like footprints in the forest, and those footprints might be evidence that Bigfoot came through. Those footprints also might be evidence that someone came through with a large cast of a human foot and faked the footprints for some reason or another. Evidence only exists within the context of a theory. Thus, there are boatloads of evidence in support of Christianity, and boatloads of evidence that could be said to refute that theory, as well.
You have "atheist, agnostic" as your religious views.....you simply cannot be both. Are you kidding me?..LOL
Lulz. No it doesn't. Why? Look at how you came to believe. There was no intelligence or discernment involved in it. Just "have faith! HALLELUJA!" It's emotional clap-trap. Which is one reason why there's _zero_ chance of the bible thumpers' views being true.
Yes you can be both. One is an expression of what you believe. The other is an expression of what you know.
Assuming that the Christian afterlife is true, then I must stand against God and his horribly immoral system of eternal torture for temporal sins. If that means that I will go to hell, then I will walk head unbowed to my fate.
I've been in Hell for the past 3 years under this administration. Heaven will be a new administration.
Quite familiar. Though I'm sure you hate him, he was a genius, and few without an agenda would debate it.
You're wrong about how I came to believe. You athiest are some of the most insecure and unhappy people I have ever met....truly, many of you are compete social misfits. Just sayin'.
It depends on what constitutes heaven and hell, according to the bible heaven is the better choice. BUT if hell is filled with prostitutes and drugs and all of lifes pleasures while heaven is filled with no pleasure just being a slave to a God then Hell would be better no?
That's a curious comment to make. Some people are less social than others by nature, actually. Introversion tends to go hand in hand with being among the most intelligent and logical members of the human species. But to tie religious belief to social conformity like that... It makes me question your motives in believing. Is it just to conform?
Introversion may also go hand-in-hand with psychopaths. http://whichmbtitype.wordpress.com/2012/05/04/which-mbti-type-is-most-likely-to-be-a-psychopath/
If heaven is populated by Christians, then I would rather spend an eternity in hell. Because to spend any real time with a bunch of Christians would be hell.
