Think the dems will rig it against him, again? You'd think the poor fella woulda learned, when they first rigged.
I always read the funnies in the morning first, beginning with Breaking Cat News, and Calvin and Hobbes are sixth on the list.
If I was a Democrat I would. She is a crooked nasty b**** but she isn't a batshit crazy commie like all the rest.
All of the candidates seem to have a chance to beat Trump, and anyone who is telling you differently is simply afraid that Orange Cheetoh will be beaten. And the reader can grin and dismiss every time the read 'commie'.
I think any of them "can" beat him. None look like they will to me so far. I think I started this thread before the Caucus. Things have gone sideways since then! After leading by double digits all Summer, Biden looks like he's going to wash out (thankfully. what delusion was he under, running for POTUS when he seems so clearly out of it.) It's actually Buttigieg that has the most delegates so far. Bernie close on his heels (And I think robbed at the Caucus. Someone I know nearly nothing about, Amy Klobuchar, is doing well. If she doesn't have Warren's baggage, can you imagine Trump, with his reputation, running against her? And the wild card is Bloomberg. He can buy and sell Hillary 50 times over. He will show us if someone can purchase the office or not. I think I can safely write at this time, Hillary will not be in this.
I think Klobuchar could bring a lot to the general. She's "not Trump," not completely insane, not gay, not commie, not given to gaffes. Why she hasn't caught on in the polls among Dems I don't know.
Klobuchar is 'catching' on, and I think may very well be the VP candidate to Bloomberg. The giggling you hear in the background is America every time one of the far right uses "commie" or "socialist."
I think Klobuchar came in 3rd in New Hampshire. All top 3 in NH came as a surprise. No Biden or Warren. And now Bloomberg is coming on stronger. It's going to be an interesting season. Much more so than when Biden and Warren looked to be duking it out for the top spot. I have to see what is coming up next...EDIT https://www.uspresidentialelectionnews.com/2020-presidential-primary-schedule-calendar/
The democrat bullpen is like watching a slow moving train wreck. The democrat party coalition of diverse interest groups from yesteryear appears to be falling apart into its component pieces. I haven't seen them in this much disarray since Reagan.
Clinton has a firm grip on position #137,813,912 on my list of probable candidates to free the nation from trumpery.
All the statistics go against this comment. In fact, Hillary is hated a lot more by people who failed to turn out for Trump in 2016. If Hillary (which won't happen) won the Dems, she'd lose to Trump again. It's why the DNC doesn't WANT her lol!
Sanders is full of crap. He flies in a private jet, is an ELITIST 1%er and campaigns against people who do that! Like CLINTON! The left is so full of it when it comes to Bernie. However, you guys get what you "pay" for (there's a joke there).
Some of you are awfully cavalier about running against someone who got millions more votes than your guy. If Hillary got the nod, 2020 would be a do-over of 2016, and this time, I guarantee you, Obama's base isn't going to stay home again. But it won't be Clinton. Bernie's leading in a bunch of new polls.
Ever since people actually started voting, my reasons for posting this thread are pretty moot now. Everything has changed. I'd never even considered Klobochar anything credible. Now I'm wondering if the Dems will see her as a Trump slayer. And Bloomberg may buy the job. I think he is in his first debate tonight.
She'd win the same states if even those you forget Trumps base would come out even more, there was never any enthusiasm for Clinton. What would Clinton even run on "Vote for me I deserved it last time"?
