Possibly. If Mueller can build a case proving that's why it was done, and I think there's a good chance of it, it would cause major problems for Trump. OTOH, let's not forget Congress didn't impeach Clinton and he finished out his term. Good Luck!

 

Congress did impeach Clinton but the Senate did not vote to remove him because they must have thought what he lied about was too trivial. If Mueller turns up proof that Trump was involved with a bunch of Russian gangsters in money laundering schemes even before he ran for President the Senate could very well vote to remove him from office for national security reasons. Remember that Clinton's downfall began with an investigation regarding a decade old land deal, lasted three years and ended up with Clinton being impeached and disbarred. From what I have gathered so far, this investigation could lead to some pretty dirty stuff. We will all just have to wait and see what turns up.

IF, If, if. We shall see. Let's not forget that both Hillary and Bill successfully avoided criminal charges. Rich, powerful people live by different rules. It's the people who work for them who get screwed. Look at who got jailed for Watergate...and who pardoned them.

 

I agree that rich, powerful people have a better shot at beating the rap. I don't really care what happens to Trump or if he is found not to be guilty of collusion. What concerns me is possible undo influence here in America by a criminal enterprise which is run by these so called "Russian Oligharchs" who are international criminals and certainly appear to be protected and supported by the dictator of Russia. These guys make the old Italian/Jewish mob look like a bunch of street punks. If Trump or any of his inner circle are involved with these scumbags, they should be ousted. Then we should take positive steps to ensure that this bunch is prohibited from operating here in the US and accessing our banking system, our real estate and especially our political process. It is very troubling that Trump's inner circle was interfacing with a Russian lawyer whose main purpose for being here in the US was to lobby our politicians to remove a provision which was specifically designed to keep Russian mobsters, murderers and crooks from operating here in the US. It is called the Magnitski Act. They got some splainin' to do and I hope Mueller digs as deep as possible into ties with Trump or anyone else with these ruthless crooks.

 

Yesssssssss, because currently the economy is not roaring hot. It's all an illusion. This is not the droid that you are looking for . . . well . . . good luck with that sort of thing; but it's not looking as if the average citizen is buying into that load of leftist crap regarding Trump's jump starting of the economy. They know that it's Trump's doing and not Obama's.

Ummm . . . Democrats had the vote and THEY voted to shut down the government. This is a democratic republic after all. I don't recall leftists blaming Obama when the Right shut down the government. Oh . . . but then again -- altogether now -- in regards to shutting down the government, It's NEVER wrong when leftists do it. Sweet!
