The prophets of doom shouldn't worry about Yellowstone, and pay more attention to the Pacific NW. It's 60 years overdue for a major earthquake and tidal wave... and it will affect everything and everyone west of Interstate 5, including Portland, Seattle, Olympia, Tacoma, Eugene, and Salem.

Bill Bryson wrote a fascinating book called "A Short History of Nearly Everything" wherein he explained that until they received the first photos from space they didn't realize that the entire area was an active volcano and Yellowstone Park is the crater. Here's a short excerpt. https://schreibe.wordpress.com/tag/bill-bryson/

Got a time frame on that? I've been hearing about the 'big one' hitting the US west coast for over 4 decades. I suspect I'll be hearing about it until I die. There seem to be some people who derive some bizarre satisfaction from claiming/believing this is going to happen 'soon'. No matter how often they get it wrong. the next one is still going to be 'soon'.

As an atheist, I find your descriptions of hell to be risible. What kind of god keeps a torture chamber? A sick sick deity, that's who.

Repentance is the key since it's a recognition of ones inadequacies...and facilitates one's progress towards the Divine. Humility is a perquisite in Christianity, while pride is it's antithesis. This is why the Kingdom of God lies within us. His dimension can only be attained through a positive personality change.

As for this world, if enough of humanity opens their hearts to God, the love that will be emanating from us through God, will be powerful enough to protect everyone. If not, then we should expect the worse.

    It's

Oh, look at the bright side, Jonsa -- the ash cloud from a Yellowstone volcano would bury socialist septic tanks like Chicago under at least five feet of volcanic debris. Imagine how much money the country would save on bailouts and welfare for hyperliberal pestholes scattered all over the Midwest and Northeast if there's nobody there.... 8) Hint: the prevailing winds generally blow from west to east....

Quake Swarm Happening Under Mt. Rainier in Washington...
Scientists say recent quake swarm at Rainier doesn’t signal impending eruption
Sep 21, 2017 | More than 20 small quakes have struck under the volcano in the past week, a rate that’s higher than usual but not unprecedented.

I agree. What we're seeing is pressure building from an ever increasing quantity of water on the surface of the planet. Once the sea floor buckles and spreads, we'll see an easing of the pressure. Until that time, earthquakes and volcanos will be more active.

To be honest I think the earth is heating up inside, and it might be due to the sun. I really don't know, I'm kind of stupid in these things. What I did read is that there is a super volcano in Italy nearby Naples, (not Versuvius) that is a lot more worrisome than Yellowstone, and it is showing some activity.

As for Yellowstone, the fools at Nasa want to fool around with it in hopes of releasing pressure, when it might have the opposite affect and actually cause an eruption. Sometimes I watch the geology nerd Dutchsense explain on youtube which way the magma swarms are heading, and what earthquakes will occur in an area and the magnitude. The geologists are freaking out with him, and insist earthquakes cannot be predicted, yet he keeps proving them wrong.

Dutchsense said fracking makes holes in the earth's crust, and this causes minor earthquakes. There is no way those holes can be closed, but there is a good side to it. The pressure being released by fracking, keeps it from building up and causing a major earthquake at the Madrid fault.

Firstly..... NASA has nothing to do with Earth geology and volcanism.
Secondly...no one is seriously considering tampering with the Yellowstone super volcano.
Third....relying on YouTube for scientific data is simply foolish.
Fourth....Fracking does not "Make Holes" in the crust but certainly disturbs rock and formations by injecting fluids.
Finally...Conspiracy theories do not increase your reputation in scientific understanding.

I'm quoting from Dutchsense, since I have found him to be much more factual and proven correct in what he says than others. He said Nasa wants to mess around with Yellowstone, so therefore I believe it's Nasa. There is no reason for him to lie. He said that minor earthquakes in areas that have never had earthquakes, are caused by holes in the crust from fracking, so I accept that they are caused by holes in the crust.

If he keeps proving the geologists wrong in predicting earthquakes and where the magma swarms are going, then they are either hiding something, or he must know something a little bit more than they do.

Just so you know the name is Dutchsince and it is primarily YouTube conspiracy theory.

Tacoyah let me ask you something. If someone explains each day the why, how and when an earthquake will occur, as well as the magnitude of the earthquake, and then the so called experts tell you he is wrong, even though he has proven himself correct over 90% of the time, who would you believe? The so called experts who say it is impossible, or the one who has proven the experts wrong day in and day out?

IF by chance someone did so, I would believe him, recommend he start a new career, become his agent and charge every country on Earth 50,000 dollars for his services.

The human race really is quite vulnerable being limited to this one planet. I would like to see space colonization be more of a global priority than it is. Not only will it increase our collective chances of survival, but the potential for untapped mineral resources 'space side' is basically limitless.

Well then watch Dutchsense, because he's doing a very good job of predicting when earthquakes will strike, and the magnitude. It's the one's who are making the money that are discrediting him... but he has his followers.

Again.....Dutchsince is spelled with an "I" and is not a man, it is a website and blog devoted to creating the impression of legitimate earthquake prediction and you have been duped by it.
