    :roflol:

Production was highly limited and may have been as few as just two guns, one a crude prototype made of iron, the other a finished weapon made from brass.

Your post isn't even on topic.

Were you just looking for any excuse to recycle some Lame RW Meme?:bored:

    Now, back ON-Topic:
Anyway, tanks or not, Trump's 4th of July Event was an Epic Fail.:salute:

The tanks and planes are already paid for. The wages for any military personnel are already paid for. The only real expenditures is for fuel and/or permits used/needed.

There are military parades all the time...even outside of periods of war. Our city has a 4th of July parade each year. These parades involve HumVees, Soldiers, and Military Transports of all shapes and sizes.....all from our local National Guard. There are many sporting events that use military equipment and numerous fly-overs by the air force....all paid for out of the DoD budget. The Blue Angels often fly in airshows....also paid for out of the DoD budget.

As I've pointed out we had a fly over by four F-16s and a C-130 of the Pine Tree Festival parade at least one year.

And that means nothing compared to the weapons of today sir.

My point being that it is disingenuous to the debate to say that the Constitution is a pure and untouchable on guns, but can and should be changed on standing armies.

Following such logic, the first amendment needs to be re-evaluated in light of digital technology that can cause far greater harm than good when in the wrong hands. Perhaps the first amendment should not cover computers, cell phones, or any other modern developments of the last century.

And yet the concept of repeating firearms existed and was patented decades before the founding fathers were ever born, thus making the concept one of public knowledge at the time. There is no conceivable way the founding fathers could not have been aware of the existence of such a concept.

Where does the bill of rights speak of standing armies? Do be specific where in the first ten amendments it is located.

What does the right to speech have to do with the mechanism it is delivered on ?

My point was that you cannot consider one part of the document to be open for change, and not others. You cant claim the sanctity of the document, then claim you should/could change parts you do/don't like ?

    Good news!

Trump said that the Salute to America was so successful that its going to happen every year "for the foreseeable future".

    This means 5 more parades!

A great deal. Some would say the mechanism upon which free speech is delivered has everything to do with the right of freedom of speech.

Try again. Where does the bill of rights, the first ten amendments of the united states constitution, speak of standing armies? Not any other clauses or sections, only the first ten amendments.

That makes no sense. You dont have a right to uses someone else’s platform, but the mechanism with witch is it delivered is irrelevant.
