Oh those silly Liberals. The last few weeks have been fun, haven't they. Race card, Class Envy card, Blame Bush card, fabricated War on Women card, and now the "there's no difference" card. Unfortunately for Obama, no matter how much money he has to spend on character assassination, at some point, he'll have to address his failures. Yep, he's got a record this time. No more voting "present". I'm actually looking forward to the next 5 months, watching him try to weasel out of all this fun. I suspect Axelrod and Debby Downer will be working OT making up more nonsense and trying to scare people. Good luck with that one.

Bottom line is nobody wants to hear any longer about the tough times Obama inherited, just the tough times they are facing right now. What people in this country really want to believe, more than anything, is this:

That there are better days ahead in America.

    Your Obama reelection cheat sheet

    By Neal Boortz

I’m going to try to build a little cheat sheet that Nealz Nuze readers can use when then get into the inevitable arguments with voters involved in the national suicide pact to reelect Barack Obama. For the first portion of the cheat sheet I’m going to rely for the most part on some data gleaned from a column by U.S. News & World Report editor Mort Zuckerman.

    Here are your talking points.

How about a job? About 15 million Americans of working age have no job and are looking for work.
Every fifth man in America is out of a job.

Fewer Jobs. There are 5.5 million fewer jobs right now than there were when Obama was inaugurated.
Employment Levels. Employment has been below the pre-recession peak for over 50 consecutive months.
U3 Unemployment Stats. This is the 8.2% figure quoted by Obama for last month. This counts only people who have applied for a job in the previous four weeks.

U6 Unemployment Stats. This figure counts the number of people who have applied for jobs in the previous 6 weeks. It also includes people who are working in part-time jobs who want to work full time. The U6 unemployment rate is now around 15%

College Graduates In 2007 90% of all college graduates found a job. Today that figure is 56%.
Nearly 87 million Americans are NOT in the labor force.

Dropping Out. Since Obama was sworn in about 3 million people have dropped out of the jobs market. These people are no longer even bothering to look for a job. If they were still in the market – still hopeful – the unemployment rate would be about 10.8%.

Economic Growth after Great Depression. In 1934, 35 and 36 our economy growed at 11%, 9% and 13%. Economic growth in 2010 was 3%. In 2011 it was 1.7%. This year we’re running between 2 and 3%.
Ethnic Jobless Rates. For young workers 20 to 24 the unemployment rate is 13%. For Hispanic teenagers it’s 30.5%. For black teenagers it’s 37.9%.

Private Sector Hiring. Through June of 2011 private sector hiring was 10 times slower after the passage of ObamaCare than it was in the 16 months prior to ObamaCare.

New Businesses. We need 1 million new businesses every year to sustain growth. We’re running about 400,000 right now.

Layoffs and Hiring. In the first months of 2012 layoffs have risen 18% from a year ago. Hiring plans have dropped 82%.

Per Capita Income. In May of 2008 per capital income in the U.S. was at $37,752. It’s now at $37,606. Adjust this for inflation and you have $36,641 in 2008 dropping to $32,600 now. This is the first time since the 1930s that inflation-adjusted incomes have decreased in America.

Welfare Over $1 trillion spent on government entitlement programs in the last two years.
Welfare Increase A 5,500% jump in means tested welfare since 1970.

Welfare percentage Over ½ of households in America have someone receiving entitlement checks.
Food Stamps Under Obama food stamp use has increased by 41%.

Every 7th person you pass on the sidewalk is on food stamps.

EBT Cards The increase in the use of EBT cards is 135%.

OK … that’s a start. We’ll work on gathering more statistics and expanding this list. Now you’re not going to get a lot of converts face-to-face, but there’s always the possibility that some Obama myrmidon, when faced with these facts, will have a second thought when they actually walk into a voting booth. Forward this to all your friends .. especially friends (Remindamom?) who still think Obama is actually good for this country.

    And more fun.....

The first fact that can’t be ignored is how many Americans are actually unemployed today. Here is some truth you won’t get from a politician or media talking head:

There are 243 million working age Americans.

There are 142 million employed Americans.

Only 101 million of the employed Americans are working more than 35 hours per week. This means that only 41.6% of all working age Americans have a full-time job.

According to the government drones at the BLS, 88 million Americans have “chosen” to not be in the labor force – the highest level in U.S. history.

The percentage of Americans in the workforce at 63.8% is the lowest since 1980 and down from a peak of 67.1% in 2000. The difference between these two percentages is 8 million Americans.

The BLS reports there are only 12.7 million unemployed Americans in the country, down from 15.3 million in 2009.

The BLS reports the unemployment rate has dropped from 10% in late 2009 to 8.3% today. Over this time frame the working age population grew by 5.7 million, while the number of employed Americans grew by 3.6 million. Only a government drone could interpret this data and report a dramatic decline in the unemployment rate.

Democrats Have Nothing to Offer But Fear Itself

Governing: Asked why the Senate hasn't produced a budget in three years, the head of the Democratic Party instead stoked fear about the "Romney-Ryan budget that ends Medicare as we know it." FDR, call your office.

'The Romney/Ryan budget is painful for Americans," head Debbie Wasserman Schultz said on that same Fox News program.

Her comments are tame compared with what other Democrats have said, including President Obama, who called Rep. Paul Ryan's budget "thinly veiled social Darwinism" that would "impose a radical vision on our country" and that is "antithetical to our entire history."

So what do Democrats have to offer instead? Nothing.

The Senate hasn't produced a budget since 2009 and refuses to this year, which means that once again the red-ink hemorrhaging federal government will be operating without any spending guidelines. Obama's budget plan was so ludicrous that not one House Democrat would vote for it.

The Democrats' refusal to govern hardly ends here.

The country faces monumental problems — a national debt crisis, an entitlement crisis, an energy crisis, to say nothing of the lingering economic crisis.

But on issue after issue, Democrats have absolutely nothing constructive to offer — no entitlement-reform ideas, no budget-reform proposals, no debt-reduction plans, no credible energy policies.

Or at least they refuse to come clean about how they'd address them.

Instead, they reflexively attack the Republicans who are actually proposing fixes, calling them terrorists and hostage-takers who are waging war on women, want to throw seniors off the cliff and savage the poor.

Today's Democrats, in short, have just one public policy proposal — scare voters into re-electing them. For example:

Entitlements: A report this week from Social Security and Medicare trustees underscored the immediacy of the crisis facing these programs. Social Security is already running in the red, and will exhaust its "Trust Fund" before today's 44-year-olds retire.

Medicare's trust fund, meanwhile, will go bust in just 12 years — and that's assuming lawmakers actually make the draconian cuts in doctor and hospital payments they've put off each year.

But you'd be hard-pressed to find any Democratic reform plan on the table that would even begin to fix either problem. Instead, they attack Republicans who have the chutzpah to propose — and vote on — reform plans of their own and mindlessly repeat the charge that Republicans want to "end Medicare as we know it."

Debt crisis: With the nation piling on $5 trillion in debt since Obama took office, you'd think Democrats would be offering something, anything, to address this crisis. But their only contribution to the public debate has been to demagogue Ryan's relatively timid effort to get runaway federal spending under control.

Energy: For two years running, the country has suffered historically high gasoline prices. So what do Democrats do? Do they offer any credible plans to expand domestic oil production? Nope, instead they try to scapegoat the industry and accuse Republicans of being in the pocket of Big Oil.

And when Republicans tried to force construction of the Obama-blocked Keystone XL pipeline, which will eventually bring 700,000 barrels a day of much-needed oil to Texas refineries, Rep. Henry Waxman said "they want to use legislation as a way to act like terrorists."

Then again, what choice do Democrats have other than fear-mongering? They certainly can't run on their record. For two years, they enjoyed huge majorities in the House and Senate along with a willing partner in the White House, and got everything they wanted. We've seen the results:

The worst economic recovery since the Great Depression, a national debt that's now bigger than the GDP, a massively wasteful stimulus program, skyrocketing oil and gas prices, high unemployment, stagnating incomes, and falling home prices.

So their only option is to try to distract voters with scary campfire tales about evil Republicans. The real horror story, however, would be if voters rewarded the Democrats' empty fear campaign this November.
