You are the one who denigrates what a woman goes through in unwanted sexual encounters. Again, IMO, all fetuses are the same physiologically, but to the woman they may not all be the same. And if you will stop be a know-it-all, you might remember saying that I personally don't believe in abortions, but would never tell a woman what she can or can't do. And, yes I do still feel sorry for your wife.
True, the first link was not to Gutmacher, it was to a blog in which the blog author quoted extensively from a 2004 Guttmacher study and corroborated the Guttmacher study by correlating it to FBI and JAMA. You FAIL.
LOL, another typical abortionist, afraid of the facts. At least 92.5% of all abortions in the USA are for "convenience", not for life of the mother, rape, incest, or baby illness/defect. You know, if the baby is going to be "irritable", then like you wrote earlier, just abort it. - - - Updated - - - This from the person who just wrote she would not bother to read the very report that the 92.5% came from. You have LOST your argument.
There is no difference. If you are willing to judge a baby's worth based on its ability to survive on its own and the external resources required to sustain it, then what prevents you from judging all people on the same basis? Nothing prevents it. There is no difference in viability between a baby at 21 weeks gestation and Stephen Hawking. The only reason abortionists won't admit it is they would lose public support when they admit they would "abort" disabled war veterans, people with Alzheimer's, or Granny who is in the ICU.
If you continue to believe a fetus is a person with rights then there's nothing anyone could ever explain to you. If you LOVE the idea that a severely deformed baby should be brought into the world just to suffer all in order to make YOU happy there will never be anything anyone can say to change that horrible cruel SELFISH attitude.
First you say that a fetus is not a person with rights, then you mention "a severely deformed baby should be brought into the world" - is it a human or not? Seems you just admitted the fetus is a human being.
A fetus is not a person with rights. Nothing I said after that changes anything. I NEVER said it wasn't human. I NEVER said it was A human...as in a "person". And you seem to have CONVENIENTLY left out the rest of the quote: ""If you LOVE the idea that a severely deformed baby should be brought into the world just to suffer all in order to make YOU happy there will never be anything anyone can say to change that horrible cruel SELFISH attitude.""""
Conversely the only real reason the anti-abortionists insist that an 8 week old lump of cells is a "baby" is to garner sympathy. The majority of abortions occur under 12 weeks and with the advent of medical abortions that time frame is diminishing
The author was not qualified and misunderstood the Guttmacher data. The actual Guttmacher data proved both you and the author to be wrong. Facts don't change just because you don't understand them.
The key point in your post is that you inadvertently admit the fetus is a human being. - - - Updated - - - Unlike abortionists, pro-life people do not need to play PR games to "garner sympathy". We have the facts.
LOL, you did not even read the first link, the Guttmacher study, the JAMA articles, and you deign to pass judgement on the resources. In fact, you did not even read the second Guttmacher link, you did not even know what the data meant or how it was sampled. Again you FAIL.
