If George lived there why didn't he know the name of the streets and the address block numbers? He lied. He shot TM in cold blood.

 

I certainly wouldn't want to look like Zimmy and the absurdity he looks anything white.

 

There's no evidence that that really happened. Z's head wounds are self inflicted. There was no evidence of bruises on his arms, legs, or torso to make his story more than a fairy tale. He's a liar.

 

Therein lies the heart of the matter. Zimmermn's fear for his life has to be reasonable. Apparently Z supporters think is was, and the other side not.

I personally have trouble putting myself in Z's shoes long enough to determine (based on his testimony) whether or not he should fear for his life...because I would have never allowed myself to wind up in his position. I would have stayed in the car, even at the risk of letting a potential burglary just simply take place.

As for his injuries...they don't look life threatening to me at all. But the reasonable doubt created by a lack of conflicting testimony by anyone, would have made me vote to acquit

 

I disagree. Trying to affect the outcome of a trial is obstruction of justice, and threatening violence if a certain verdict is not met is clearly intimidation and coercion.

 

The Prosecution has pretty much conceded the point that Zimmerman was on the bottom. Since this is the case then who was screeming for help? The person on the top or the person on the bottom?

 

Make that three.

One parent initially said it wasn't his child screaming on the 911 tape, but later changed his story.

The other parent has always maintained it was his child screaming for help on the 911 tape.

I wonder which parent we should believe.

"Jonathan Good said he heard a faint noise coming from the back of his home in the Retreat at Twin Lakes on Feb. 26, 2012. When he heard a louder noise, he went outside to investigate. He said he saw two men engaged in a "tussle" on the ground.

Good was the 17th witness to take the stand in the trial of Zimmerman, who is charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of Martin in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman told police he followed the teenager because there had been some recent break-ins in the area. He says he was forced to kill Martin during their confrontation in self-defense.

On the trial’s fifth day, Good recounted being 15 to 20 feet away from the fight between Zimmerman and Martin. Although he couldn’t make out the faces of the people on the ground, Good said he could make out the color of their clothes.

In crucial testimony that appears to buttress the defense’s argument, Good said the person on top during the fight was wearing a black top like the black hoodie sweatshirt Martin had on that night, and the person on the bottom was wearing red. Zimmerman was wearing a similar color that night."

"It looked like that position was a ground-and-pound type position, but I couldn't tell 100% that there were actually fists hitting faces," Good said.

Well you are very confused but you do come to a sane conclusion though you use an inappropriate term. The correct term is 'not guilty' if that is what the jury decides.

Your statement of what you would do or what you would not do has little relevance...you were not there. I do not know where you live but would you be afraid to take a walk in your own neighborhood?

I would also bet you are one of those who claim Trayvon had a perfect right to be walking through that neighborhood....yet those who usually say that on here...want to deny George the right to take a walk in his own neighborhood even when he was the head of the neighborhood watch. Something stinks in Denmark pal. You need to get real.

In reality I didn't expect it to end today, but maybe tomorrow? Who knows.

Ridiculous and shows a complete lack of knowledge of human behavior....lots of people do not pay attention to street names....especially those little side streets. So your simplistic reasoning means nothing and proves nothing....try again.

 

Typically, if a verdict is reached in hours it's Guilty ... after that deliberations are because of holdouts one way or the other .... so in days there are a minority of holdouts seeking or getting swayed by the majority and of course vice a versa ... if in a week it's hung.

 

Generally speaking, it's no longer acceptable for whites to go around shooting black people just because they want to. Only cops can do that. Z wasn't a cop. His arrest might have stopped him from becoming a serial killer.

 

He'll be out on Appeal in short order.

Specially in the age of GPS. I moved here 4 years ago and i only know the main streets.

 

I've lived in the same neighborhood for three years now and I couldn't tell you the street name two over from mine. I can however tell you all of the streets I grew up around. You stop paying attention to this once you grow up and move on. So unless you still ride a bike and live in your parent's basement, I would think about that stupid statement.
