Have you given any thought to how you are going to explain a not guilty verdict? Who's fault will it be? Who will you blame?

 

Why O'Mara would introduce evidence that Martin was in fact trying to get away and hide from Zimmy is .... well, incompetence.

 

The only fantasy theater is yours exotix.

You can't prove who started the fight. You can't prove Z acted in malice.

I really feel sympathy for TM's parents. It is really devastating for a parent to lose a child. It really compounds that devastation to hear the events leading up to that loss.

I understand that some will say that these events happened because of poor upbringing or lack of parental influence in TM's life (or even GZ's life), but I wouldn't lay the blame at either of the parent's feet. Raising children is hard. Sometimes events in life do not allow a parent to raise their child as they would prefer. In hindsight, I would bet that most parents wish that they had done some things different in the raising of their children.....no matter how good their child turns out.

I lost respect for Thugvon's dad when he changed his story about the 911 tape. First he says it wasn't Thugvon. Later, after realizing he could be jeopardizing a nice settlement, he decided it was his son screaming. What a POS.

 

I'm merely stating that O'Mara said he was about to prove the factual innocence of Zimmy ... and as self-defense .... I never saw it as O'Mara closes his argument.

O'Mara explained in the very beginning that it is not for the Prosecution to tell you to make assumptions, which is exactly what the Prosecution did. But that it is for the Defense, in raising reasonable doubt, to suggest common-sense assumptions.

 

You obviously have been watching the state present it's case, as that sums it almost perfectly!
