The bad part for GZ is that the jury will not be informed that a guilty verdict on one of the lesser included charges will carry a similar maximum sentence......so these women will think they are doing the right thing by reaching a compromise verdict........then this evil judge will give GZ a virtual life sentence. Two days later the jurors will all be giving press interviews which start with the phrase "had we known"......

Sometimes I thought the judge seemed to be a tad biased but over all I didn't think she did a bad job. Of course depending on the verdict and what would happen if appealed will be the acid test on her effectiveness to referee this trial.

 

You are correct. That is why I don't really make predictions as far as what a jury will decide. A jury is unpredictable but if they happen to make the wrong decision the trayvonites will return claiming that they knew it all along as if they are vindicated. I have wanted to hear the State's case for my own convincing that the charges are justified. They aren't. The State has their closing statement to convince me but I doubt they will.

Judge Nelson is an over-the-hill fleabag who needs to wear such as a Judge's tent. She has got a chip on her shoulder bigger than her ass is broad. She is not a happy camper, much less a happy Judge.

 

I certainly don't think about it until I need it and go to pull it out.

The judge favored the prosecution heavily the first week, seemed to lay back a bit when the defense started, but then was back to her old self the last couple of days.

This doesn't seem like a completely fair trial to me.

 

You may have to wait until after the rioting to buy it from one of the rioters who will be selling it out of the trunk of his car. It won't be free but you can get a deal on it.

judge Nelson is in the tank for the State. She is an absolute awful judge. She just had a self defense case she presided over to be overturned because she didn't give proper jury instructions. Now the case has to be retried on the tax payer's dime. No wonder she is going to be a civil court judge after this.

It wasn't just the state that got ripped a new one, but many of the theories they had invented were crushed by the expert testimony, such as the trajectory of the bullet proves GZ is lying. I'd be ashamed to show my face as well.

 

At this point i think they are praying ( irony) for a Manslaughter conviction and then they can come back and try to claim how *right* they were all along....
