A large majority of the world's States already recognize the Palestinian nation's right to self-determination and a State on the pre-1967 borders. All that stands between the just and overdue recognition of Palestine at the United Nations is Zionist greed, spite and the US of AIPAC security council veto. As pressure mounts for changes to the security council structure and a more democratic United Nations, unhampered by self-serving vetoes which prohibit peace and the well-being of the majority, so Zionism's desperation for irreversible occupation increases. Dialogue is an enemy of Zionism, as is international law. The Palestinians must continue to louden their voices and to increase their United Nations presence . There is no alternative to the rule of international law .

Impressive. But why don't Canada, Australia, most of Europe and the United States recognize Palestine?

Simply put, it's the misbehavior Hamas and the Palestinians ties to terrorist organizations. As long as the Palestinian's continue to lob rockets into Israel they'll never gain statehood.

Negatory. Resistance will ensure Palestinian Statehood. Look around. Sixty years later and they're winning.

The US of AIPAC must start to disengage itself very soon. It's 20% support is dwindling- as could be expected.

Then Palestine is the equivalent of Charlie Sheen's claim of "winning." He hasn't won squat and neither has Palestine.

And quite a few of those countries are the sworn enemy of Israel. I asked you before and never got an answer as to why don't the United States, Canada, Mexico, most of Europe and Australia don't recognize the Palestinian state. Why not?

Is Palestine a member of the UN? The Arab League? Indeed any international organization?

I find it strange that so many people side with Israel in terms of this subject. The split in 1947 was welcomed by the Jews and rejected by the Arabs. But reconciliation has to be the way forward. Hamas is not a state-sponsored group, Abbas rejects terrorism and Hamas. Whereas Israel seems to have no problem supporting it. I have said this before, if the IRA detonates a car bomb in England, should England's response be to bomb the Irish people, men, women and children, including using white phosphorous? Let's not forget many Jews are against Zionism for good reason. Explain the rights the Jews have to build settlements and outposts in Palestinian territory while running innocent people from their homes. Even Israeli soldiers have spoken out against the actions of their government. I know Israel has to fight for her right to exist but that doesn't justify their actions towards Palestine. They should leave civilians alone, give them back their land and deal with Hamas directly.

The Globe is not a Democracy it's a hegemony and that hegemony is currently in the West. When that changes.. wake me up. Until then let the Palis live in their own rubble.

Because Zionists control Washington- that's means YOU- and Washington dictates to its dwindling group of supporters.

Palestine has Observer status at the UN- but is recognized by the vast majority of member States. Palestine is a full member of UNESCO- much to the US of AIPAC's annoyance.
Change horse. Yours has no future.

so 80% of the world doesn't understand what "palestine" means to the Jews. It means undefensible borders, it means more terrorism, and it probably means a second holocaust for the Jews. Also, the states that support "Palestine" are mostly the states with a sizable Muslim population.

"They [the Children of Israel] provoked Me with a non-god, angered Me with their vanities; so shall I provoke them with a non-people, with a vile nation shall I anger them." (Deuteronomy 32:21)

A prime example of Falsehood masquerading as Truth can be found in the modern assertion by the "Palestinian” Arabs and numerous revisionist historians that, even before the dawn of Christianity, an ancient nation-state or kingdom known as "Palestine", inhabited by a people known as "Palestinians", was in existence, and that such entity continued to exist, even under the yoke of successive conquering empires, until the creation of modern Israel brutally usurped it in 1948 -- the implication being that Today's "Palestinian" Arabs are the descendants of those alleged ancient "Palestinians".

... in light of “Palestinian” claims to aboriginal status, it is ironic and noteworthy that the English-language cognate words “Palestine” and “Philistine”, as well as the Arabic-language word “Falastin”, are all derived (via Latin and, before that, Greek) from the biblical Hebrew-language word “Pelishtim”, meaning literally: “Invaders”. It is indeed telling that the “Palestinians” have created for themselves a faux ethnic identity whose very name originates, not from their own Arabic language, but rather from the Hebrew language.

The bogus claim of “Palestinian” ethnicity is merely an elaborate (and -- thus far -- diplomatically successful) ruse to disguise the true pan-Arab and pan-Islamic goal, which is to dismember and then eradicate the Jewish nation-state of Israel.

    http://www.rosenblit.com/Palestine.htm

An excellent, excellent piece on true nature of "palestine" and "palestinians"... I suggest you read it all before commenting.

So theyre winning the popularity contest. Usually sovereignty is established by exercising that sovereignty over the land. Not by votes in popularity contests.

Democracy is a popularity contest. Zionism won it in 1947/48 and it's been all downhill from there. Palestine's turn now .

proof the muzzies won't be satisfied until Israel is Utterly destoryed. They don't really want peace if it means they have to allow the Jews a safe place to live.

They're safe enough in New York. Why attempt to ethnically cleanse another nation ?
