Crime is not limited to low income neighborhoods. More prevalent perhaps, but not limited.

Plenty of people take us seriously. Including your own country. Like it or not the US has a HUGE amount of respect around the world. We may not be well liked, but we are respected. Even cocky world powers like Russia back down when the US says stares them directly in the face. They backed out of Georgia a few years ago for a reason. And it wasn't because the "UN" was threatening them.

I think you mean the rest of the world is scared stiff you will invade them. That's not respect. That's fear.

    Proud of that?

Whatever, continue to believe that we are nothing more than military might. But I'm glad you recognize that particular strength of ours. The US is respected for a lot more than the simple fact that we can kick your ass. But if you want to continue believing that then by all means.

Kiwi, why does your stupid country participate in Echelon? That participation gives lie to every thing you say.

The Chinese, who are its primary target, don't mind. So it hardly matters. It sits among the Marlborough vineyards and is periodically vandalised by Kiwis who understand how much of a blot it is on the landscape.

Meanwhile, we continue to ban your ships. While at the same time training your marines and participating in a ludicrous FTA you designed to keep the Chinese out of the Pacific. Against that, we let the Chinese buy our farming land on condition we can buy theirs.

It's a delicate balancing act that keeps both you and the Chinese relatively happy without provoking outbursts of domestic indignation.

Seems like crime stats in New Zealand are on the rise while they continually get lower in the States, even during a recession.

ECHELON is directed against the entire world, not just the Chinese. The fact that you don't know this rudimetary fact speaks volumes about your education. Btw, I don't have a problem with the Chinese. My wife is a daughter of the CCP. Don't make the mistake of thinking the Chinese respect your country gweilo.

Inform your Department of State and your NZ consulate immediately. They seem to be labouring under the opposite illusion.

To the US, the "entire world" is the Chinese.

    PS I don't have a problem with the Chinese either. I have a half-Chinese grand-daughter.

No it isn't. The world is filled with fuzzy wuzzies to kill. The Han aren't fuzzy wuzzies.

    Good. Hybrid vigor is real.

    It's your own consulate, noddy.

And, amusingly, your chart ends 4 years ago.

    Then there is this one:

What we are seeing on this thread is a microcism of the rightwing thinking, such as it is, that we see on all threads.

A bombardment of half-truths, fantasies, ideological delusions, and outright lies.

The only surprise is that anyone in the US agrees with them. But many do.

Which is why it is so hard to take America seriously.

Awrly, there is no need for us to take you seriously. You haven't approached us in a way which would encourage discourse. You approach us like a mad dog, so we treat you like a mad dog.
