Why didn't the State Department use any of the 2 billion they are sitting on for security? Besides, the budget "cut" which is a smaller increase in future years doesn't even play into this. Oh, by the way, there hasn't been a budget passed or even brought to the floor in the Senate for 4 years.
The State Dept budget for embassy security has been cut repeatedly since the Bush admin. What influx? The people are already out there and receiving medical care. The only difference is that Obama and Dems waved their magic wands and all of a sudden instead of our taxes paying for their healthcare out of our right pocket we will be paying for their healthcare out of our left pocket.
That's it, just ignore the link that substantiates my claim and keep giving us your "expert" opinion.
While they are demanding that very important information.....I wished they'd also demand to know who inside the White House gave Ambassador Rice her talking points for the Sunday shows....6 days after the day......where they concocted the story about a video being the cause. I say.....put Rice under oath. It's the only way to get to the truth.
I wish you guys had put this much attention into Iraq instead of being complete hypocrites. And you idiots wonder why you lost.
I'm still waiting for answer as to why we grounded the entire country after 9/11, yet made an exception and flew Bin Laden's family out of harm's way. Justify this then we can talk more on Benghazi:
Hardly. Obama is president at this moment and the smoke has barely cleared at our burned out consulate in Benghazi.
part of me wants republicans to get smart and start to work with this president to solve this country's problems... and part of me wants them to completely miss this opportunity to become a responsible player in the future of America, and, instead, focus on Benghazi or college transcripts or the validity of that Hawaii birth certificate, or is he or is he not really a muslim.... which might hurt this country in the short term -but when it did, the blood would be on their hands - and lead the way to the majority of Americans finally realizing how totally wacko and out of touch the GOP really is and dooming them to the same dustbin of history where the Whigs live. tough call.
Your silence on the continuing war in Afghanistan puts you in the same shoes as conservatives on Iraq.
Are you surprised that there are that many intelligent whites left in the US? Not all of us are right-wing neanderthals. And do please keep spouting your delusional nonsense that the cons lost because they did not embrace the lunatic right enough. With thinking like that, you people will never win another national election.
White conservatives are confused and discouraged and Dems always the political opportunists are taking advantage of it. Limbaugh spoke to one on the radio yesterday. The guy did not vote and told Limbaugh that Romney was not conservative enough. But Limbaugh pointed out that Romney was far more conservative than Obama. Somehow that was not good enough for the caller and Limbaugh was practically speechless. I think most conservatives are logical but clearly some like that caller are not.
From the OP: "230 security incidents in Libya, 48 of which happened in Benghazi from June 2011 to July 2012" And Obama is supposed to cancel his workload because of a particular two incidents. this thread is just dumb.
And conceited Euro's pride themselves on being better informed than Americans? Yeesh! These guys don't have a clue.
If they acknowledge the facts, they lose all hope. Typical for Republican supporters nowadays. I've linked numerous quotes and videos with apologies by the protesters for the deaths caused, and footage of the protests. Some actually assert that "there were no protests". They still ignore my challenge to explain where was their outrage when the first 9/11 took place and we flew Bin Laden's family to safety. If people here really cared about the ones we lost they'd be honoring their memories instead of using them as ammunition against Obama. This is all so dumb and pathetic it makes me sick.
am I saddened that four Americans lost their lives? of course. what a totally silly question. If I could jump in Mr. Peabody's way back machine and go back in time and stop it from happening, I would. I can't. Those four Americans have long since reached ambient temperature and there is not a thing I can do to change that. next?
Our Ambassador to Libya. Along with his assistant and two SEALs. That's not a secret. The question is why obama spent two weeks lying about their deaths?
Under Bush 12 embassies were attacked and 53 Americans were killed as a result. Don't be a hypocrite.
