The funny thing, except for a small number of black conservatives, most blacks do not feel insulted by the fact that standards are lowered for them. It doesn't make any sense, but it's true.

So why didn't they set a higher passing rate for Jews? Jews perform even better than Asians and have higher incomes than Whites.
Why not break Blacks up into different groups depending on how black they are? Does a student with only one quarter African blood in him still qualify for the same affirmative action?

Pretty messed up, Florida seems to have set the precedence for it though. Who wants their state to have a 40 to 70% failing record on the no child left behind scoreboard? What happens if you shut down all the public minority schools in a state? Who pays for the vouchers? How do the remaining schools, private and otherwise, cope with a massive influx of underperforming students?

It seems that color means we are all equally smart. Because everyone is equal. Because when you go into a black neighborhood and ask them about what stock to buy, they know it. "Buy 'this'stock. You are guaranteed to win millions." That's all I've ever encountered in an equal black neighborhood. Yay America.

 

I think that's a good system, that way oppressed races and people with disabilities, don't have to work as hard as the Asians and whites to get into college.

It makes their lives easier, because they have bigger roadblocks that should be accounted for, in their pursuit of climbing the socio-economic ladder.

Nothing new here. Lots of schools have gone to race-based achievement standards. Just more evidence that there are huge mental differences between the races and blacks are always at the bottom. Black failure is due to black inferiority and affirmative action must end.

 

If what you believed were true, then affirmative action would be justified... I mean if you basically think they are a retarded sub-species, they would actually need an advantage, like the Americans With Disabilities act... AA wouldn't bother me if I were a racist/sexist I guess...

So the Black and Latino kids will get passed first through High School, with a Diploma that looks no different than any other, with potentially no preparation for college level curriculum.


Then in College, the Black and Latino students will get a similar set of Racial Preferences, and the Asian kids will be held to an above average standard just to move forward.


Then after the Black and Latino students graduate from College, in many cases never having learned the material, they will get jobs as business administrators, nurses, engineers, and technicians.


Then the American Companies which hire them, fearing a lawsuit of discrimination if they hire the Asian or White Graduate instead, will have vastly inferior employees doing their projects.


And it may not have been an official policy until now, but we've been doing this for forty years now...


Every wonder by a GM car isn't the reliability equivalent of a Honda?


Is it any wonder WHY American Corporations can't compete with Asian Corporations?


Succession is the Answer.

You are never going to get any kind of serious education reform and the institution of true racial equality in education evalution standards with the current bunch of Liberals in charge of the country.

Affirmative action is a moral equivalency, where racism against whites is used to correct racism against blacks.
