Hmmm. Let's see. All but one mass (4 or more) shooting since 1950 happened in gun free zones. Columbine happened in a gun free zone during the last Assault Weapons Ban. See a pattern? I would say that those that are against someone being able to respond to these crimes is complicit in the deaths of these 20 children, after all the shooter had enough time to shoot 20 children with no opposition before the police could get there and clean up, something they do all the time for liberals that do not believe in self defense.
