Oh, DonGlock seemed to purport that this was a Lib or Muslim spotter for the bombers ... I mean, who else could it be ?
Just in is that bombs were (unsophisticated) crudely-made and on a timer ... suggesting home-grown terrorists ...
Yes... all muslim terrorists are expert bomb makers by 5. You must be right Would you call the shoe bomb "sophisticated"? Explosives hidden in a shoe with a magnesium fuse he had to light with matches?
Yeah, the guy who almost burned his nuts off with the underwear bomb was a pro in the highest regard, as well...lol - - - Updated - - - Not at all an indication of the terrorists origin...
Faux would only speculate if it fits thier *take the country back* agenda ... say like Shepard Smith did and in hysterics minutes after the Tucson Massacre ... *Has the Right-Wing Revolution started !!??*
really just in-pressure cooker bombs with jars of shrapnel attached similar to a design used by a lone wolf muzzie out west.
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/1...e-from-pressure-cookers-shrapnel-say-experts/ Thought I should point that out...
Investigators believe Boston bombs were pressure cookers hidden in backpacks, officials say http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/201...ookers-hidden-in-backpacks-officials-say?lite Law enforcement officials told NBC News that the explosives were classified as low — meaning that they traveled at under 3,300 feet per second. That is not enough to create a blast wave, which can kill people from air compression and blow out faraway windows, but it is enough to propel the shrapnel a great distance. You know, just perusing the stories on the internet about this tragedy, the ones that get me the most are the ones about little Martin Richard... He was only 8... It sickens me, literally... He didn't get to live at all... And, as I read those stories, I can't help but think of my son, who just turned 8 last week... I can't even begin to imagine what I'd do in this situation... And I don't want to imagine it... That's not to belittle the other 2 people who died, or the 140+ injured... It's just the one that gets me the most... I sincerely hope to God that they get whoever is responsible, no matter who it is... And, God aside, I hope someone makes them suffer... Horribly... - - - Updated - - - That, in no way, supports your claim that the construction of the bombs was indicative of homegrown terrorists...
dropped in a trash can, that would create more lower limb injuries, no? i think we have a winner here. - - - Updated - - - black powder is a low explosive, model rocket fuel is too.
Ohh I do appreciate that - but after seeing that guy go down near the finish line, and not moving when he does, makes it hard to be scientifically detached
Sure it does ... goes to motive, method and opportunity ... nobody can build a sophisticated bomb causing mass-casualities without raising suspicion (after Oklahoma) ...
Um... that opportunity must be observed by any bomber in this country. 9/11 wasn't sophisticated. Fissile materials are hard to get hold of and are well monitored and regulated... this does not indicate that the bombing was by ANYONE except someone in this country who wanted to make bombs without setting off warning bells. How the hell this indicates "not these terrorists" or "these terrorists" is a construct of your mind.
It's already been stated that devices similar to the ones used yesterday had been seen in Pakistan, etc... How is that indicative of domestic terrorists?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Times_Square_car_bombing_attempt two travel alarm clocks with batteries that apparently were fashioned as triggering devices, connected by electrical wires to two red full 5-gallon cans of gasoline, sandwiching 40+ consumer-grade M-88 firecrackers inside a 20-ounce metal container (wrapped in duct tape, with its end removed), gunpowder, three full 20-gallon propane tanks, and a 55-inch (1,400 mm) x 32-inch (810 mm) green metal gun locker that contained: a metal pressure cooker pot containing a thicket of wires, that also connected to the alarm clocks; 250 pounds (110 kg) of urea-based fertilizer in 8 plastic bags; and 120 M-88s.[17][22][27][28][29][30] Sophisticated. sounds familiar... what was his deal anyway? Clearly a tea party activist... you win... I concede.
Then I'd say let's push for legislation to run background checks on all marathon runners. If you are a criminal or have a history of mental problems, you're not allowed to run in any marathon. That way we can keep the number of marathons to a limited amount. Furthermore, I say we limit the amount of runners on any given marathon. Over 20,000 is way too many, I'd say no more than 1,000. That's enough to effectively have a marathon. Sounds about as crazy as your statement. The only difference is, someone will probably suggest what I just said.
Why haven't we banned large capacity pressure cookers yet? FFS Washington... get it together!!! You don't need more than 6 servings of rice at any time. 30 serving cookers are OBVIOUSLY the problem...
It's amazing the amount of stuff that's out there that could cause so much damage to us. Let's further continue this by banning all forms of peroxide. That'll stop those terrorists.
