What Should be Verdict in Jody Arias case ?

Are you senile? Jodi has been convicted.

 

1. I watched only a little bit of the trial, but I'm not making a statement about guilt or non-guilt. I'm just asking where's the evidence ? For those who say she's guilty either they have evidence to PROVE guilt, or they're talking poppycock.

2. People who are addicted DON'T have self-control. Their addictions CONTROL THEM.

She does seem to be. Still not PROOF of murder (ie. NON-self-defense)

 

She testified for 18 days and a jury of her peers have convicted her.. What the H is wrong with you?

Nothing. I'm patiently waiting for someone to tell me how they KNOW that JA did not act in self-defense. Got a video ? Got an audio ? Got eyewitnesses ? Got a confession ? Got anything ?

 

Agree with the jury that this was pre-planned. But she must still not get death penalty, but life in prison without parole. For me to impose the death penalty, the crime must not only be preplanned as this 1 was, but the victim's character must be impeaccable. If some1 is convicted of death penalty crime, then they must get every chance to avoid death penalty. Yes, Jodi Ann Arias is a manipulator who mostly lied & this murder's brutal. But her life must still be spared where she gets old in prison for rest of her life & misses on things such as the fact that she didn't have children & so on. My reason for sparing Jodi Ann Arias's life is because I see something wrong with a man asking a woman to dress like a schoolgirl-the victim to repeat was not a columnist Patrick J. Buchanan or Richard J. Santorum. Please give thoughts because life in prison is where she belongs but she must not be executed, though admit the circumstances are for it.

Your views read but you know I wrote no such thing excusing butchery. You're right about Jodi Ann Arias being a murderess & again I believe that she must spend the rest of her life in prison. But there are Mormons who'll agree with me that she should get life in prison, not the death penalty as Travis V. Alexander had not lived to Mormon ideals such as asking her to dress like a schoolgirl. Keep her in prison for life. Thanks for replying.

Truth, in that who would really want to live in prison the rest of their days?

And maybe a little bit of drama queening to make herself out to be a martyr.

And for the record, I haven't watched more than five minutes of the entire trial or news coverage of it.

 

I usually don't participate in this types of discussions, but this woman needs the death penalty for what she did.

 

She's a sociopath, and she thinks the death penalty will make her more famous. Plus, she'd rather die young and pretty, then as some some ugly old hag, who died rotting in a prison.

 

It was her lies that convicted her.

"Oh, officer, I wasn't even in Az when Travis was killed"... "well, ok, I was in AZ w/Travis and these big, bad, dudes w/ski masks broke in and killed him, but they let me go"..... "Well, ok. I killed Travis, but I had to in self-defense b/c he was abusive to me".......

Then she couldn't come up w/one iota of evidence that he was abusing her..... never told a soul that he was beating her, never filed a police report, but kept running back to him every chance she got.....

Have you ever heard the expression 'Give him enuf rope and he'll hang himself"? That's exactly what she did to herself w/her 18 days on the witness stand and her lying. Credibility speaks volumes during a trial and Aries showed she didn't have any.......

The jury asked her over 100 questions, IIRC, and apparently, her answers helped them make their decision of murder 1.

Have you ever given any tho't to the physical sizes and heights of those 2 and how she managed to pull it off? Because there was no hostility/anger b/t the 2, which left him totally defenseless when she went into the bathroom w/a gun and knife.....

If there had been fighting & anger b/t the 2, you really think he would have stripped and gotten in the shower? I don't think he would have. TA was relaxed and totally unaware that he had a psycho w/him who planned on killing him and did......

 

My daughters were told that when they were teenagers......

"The 1st time he hits you, you leave and don't ever go back. If he hits you once, he'll do it again ... and again."

 

Was there any evidence that the deceased was in fact dead? Maybe he was just sleeping in the morgue?

 

Jodi stabbed Travis 29 times in the back.

 

No, he just stood there and allowed her to stab....slit his throat and shoot him in the head. They proved that he tried to get away. The blood splatter in the sink proved that he was standing there choking on blood....it was proven that he went down the hall....and dripped blood all over. She did not kill him in the bathroom and then drag his body...down the hall..only to drag it back.

 

Yes...on death cases....the defense always appeals. So this probably will take years. Defense will get new lawyers....probably. She could even say..they botched the whole thing and cost her..her life. She can claim anything...but it will be up to another judge to determine if she gets another trial. That is why this judge did everything by the book and gave the defense way more wiggle room than the state. She will never get another trial.

 

You didn't watch any of the trial did you? Throw the gun out....and you still have the upside down license plate...her dying her hair during the road trip....the three gas cans and the lies she told on the stand. You still have the multiple stab wounds ON HIS BACK. That is not self defense. He also had multiple cuts on his hands...which proved he was trying to grab the knife. She caught him in a vulnerable position naked in the shower....and it all started there. Look at the last known picture of him..he looks disturbed, it is eerie. She killed him THREE TIMES....OVER.

 

All she proved is that she is a compulsive liar and planned the whole thing. She helped them convict her. If she wanted a chance...she never ever should have taken the stand. But the defense did not have anything....but her made up story of the account. She wants to be in the limelight...so she granted interview after interview after she was initially arrested. And of course the words that clinched it....."No jury will convict me, I know I am innocent, Travis knows I am innocent." Of course she gave several different versions of how he died. The Ninjas...self defense.....battered woman. If anyone battered anyone, stalked anyone she did. And they had an easy job of proving it. They had so much evidence to convict her on...and she handed it to them on a silver plater.

And the minute she was convicted....she sought out television cameras. Hell she is thinking movie deal...books....not that she will die. She told them she wanted to die...so the prosecution would put her words in front of the jury. Reverse psychology. She doesn't want to die....she is a narcissist.
They never proved that she got battered...not one incident...nothing.

 

Then you are blind.

They had 100 times more evidence for conviction than they had in the Scott Peterson or OJ trial. All you see are past pictures of her when she looked attractive. All you hear is her soft little...woe is me voice. She has duped you....because of her appearance. You don't even want to see the facts cause you cant imagine them putting her to death.
If she were a man...and he had done what she did to her.....you would see it clearly. If is the fact that she is a woman...and attractive that you won't allow yourself to see the truth.
BEcause it is there....the gas cans, changing hair color, the stabs in her back, even her broken finger....the camera in the washer....it all reveals that she butchered him.
She admitted she killed him. Funny she can do this...as she can't remember the whole incident...except she remembers the clean up and the get away. And the bottles of water she had in the car to wash herself after she left.

Then the next day she was with another guy....probably planning her next victim. Who butchers someone like this....and then makes out with another guy...the next day? LMAO

Who travels with THREE FULL GAS CANS. Who stops when they say they are broke to dye their hair? Why would skateboarders carry a screwdriver and put peoples license plates upside down while the people are in a convenience store?

She killed him because he abused her...yet she never filed abuse to the police...and she did not even write it down in her fake journals. Full of rage? THEY HAD SEX ALL AFTERNOON BEFORE SHE KILLED HIM for crying out loud. The only thing she did not use to kill him was the imaginary rope she said he tied her up with...during kinky sex. Tell me how one ties up someone with rope, if the have a sleigh bed? LOL
She brought the knife and the gun with her...and had it handy. She set the entire thing up months before it happened. She taped their phone sex...WHO DOES THIS? In fact in one phone sex tape we heard...she made him repeat something three times because she didn't hear him. Who does that? You had to hear the tape...it was hilarious. She set him up.....

 

Explain to me the blood trail.
Then explain the reason for the gas cans....and dying her hair on the road trip....and her grandparents stolen gun.

I would like to hear your reasons. All three are premeditated. Even the change of clothes and the multiple water bottles in the car prove she needed something to clean herself up with.
She did herself in....because she never told the truth about anything. She is a narcissist and had she gone with insanity...she might have been spared the long sentence she is going to get. She hated him in the end...and was full of rage. He realized after dating that she was a stalker...and told her so on taped phone calls we heard. Again...who tapes phone conversations if they don't plan to use them? When was the last time you taped and kept phone conversations from the people you know?

He was going to take another girl...(the one she say him with laying on the sofa) on a trip. And she was not going to stand for it. Her beauty no longer captivated him and paybacks...were in order. She wanted the last laugh....because she was Jodi...she was beautiful and nobody was going to toss her aside.

I think she has multiple personalities...she is sick in the head. Did you see the interviews with her parents?...They all but said that themselves. You could tell that they knew her capable of doing that to Travis. She lied to them...she lied to everyone. But the lies caught up with her. Who sits in front of a live television camera after they have been convicted of FIRST DEGREE MURDER? Her crime was overkill....and they will have an easy time putting her to death....but she remains cool, calm and collected as she softly speaks into the camera. It's a movie set....and she is the heroine.
