What Should be Verdict in Jody Arias case ?

OFF TOPIC! Please stick to the topic. How has the prosecution PROVED that she didn't act in self-defense ?

 

Doesn't matter what I think (or anyone "thinks"). Murder convictions are made based on what people KNOW, not think.

 

This talks about where Alexander was when he was dying. It says nothing of what created that situation to begin with. Self-defense or not self-defense.

 

Interesting stuff, BUT not provable of guilt (negation of self-defense claim).

 

Let me know when you are going to address the subject of Alexander possibly attacking her, and her thereby acting in self-defense, OK ?

 

She hasn't duped me. I don't say she's innocent. I simply says she's innocent UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, and am asking all of you to show me the PROOF that she didn't act in self-defense. So far, all you all are doing is talking about bits and pieces of the overall case, but nothing's been said to disprove Jody's self-defense claim.

No he was still living when she cut a four inch deep slash in his throat.

 

Yeah, right. If you prefer to think that a tall, naked man physically attacked a much smaller woman who was armed w/a gun and knife on her - well, at least a gun..... knock yourself out.

If you refuse to think of the circumstances where she had the opportunity to overpower the guy who was much bigger, taller and stronger than her, which would mean she was NOT being put in a 'self-defense' position, but HE, OBVIOUSLY, WAS!... well, what can I say?

For gawd's sake! He was a naked guy in the shower! Where was the THREAT that she 'feared' so much? She had a gun and went to get a knife while he was showering, totally defenseless and vulnerable to her sudden attack.... and you can't see this?

Why don't you watch the trial today when the medical examiner takes the stand. They can tell which wounds were post-mortem...which were done first etc. How do you explain that she has no scars...nothing....if she claims he attacked her? She said he attacked her like a linebacker cause he was big.....then how did this little whimpy of a girl overpower him? what would you do..if you had a gun pointed at you?
She did all that....cut his throat ear to ear (3 1/2 inches deep) stabbed him 29 times...(many in his back-try to explain this one) and shot him in the head....in less than one minute...OH...and she ran down the hall went into the closet, stepped up on a moveable shelf (impossibly it would have flipped) in less than 60 seconds. LOL

 

Honey...she admitted she killed him. There is no doubt that after two different stories...she finally after being cornered came up with the battered woman defense. She is guilty. And he watched himself die as she was stabbing him in the back...as he coughed up blood. HE WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF THE BATHROOM MIRROR.

Justice was served. A jury of her peers...found her guilty. It was unanimous...they didn't buy it. And you are in a small minority I would guess that is standing up for Jodi.
Unbelieveable. If she had been defending her life....she would have injuries...and no guy Travis's size could not overtake someone her size. She had the gun....

And...ANOTHER POINT...... She said that when she ran into the closet (remember Travis was coming after her) she had to reach his gun up on a shelf 7 feet. They recreated the closet scene...got the same kind of shelves..and proved that her weight on them would have pulled them down. NOTHING IN THE CLOSET WAS TOUCHED, IT WAS NEAT...NO PLACE TO PUT HER FOOT. Now don't you think Travis if this was self defense...would have followed her into the closet and stopped her from getting the gun if there was one there?

You provided more facts for Protectionist to seriously consider. I didn't watch that much of the trial, but what I did hear was a lying female saying anything to save her skin......

But looked at the pix of the 2 and would think 'no way was he threatening her life and she overpowered him at that moment'.....

I'm 5'2" w/small frame - my x-husband and b/f were big guys. No way could I have overpowered either one during a fight. Even if I had a weapon, he would have gotten it away from me...... I would have had to wait until he was sleeping..... or taking a shower. He would have to be in a position where he wasn't a threat to me.

Also, now she's saying she'd rather die than sit in prison for life. An innocent woman who killed a man in fear for her life would be bawling that the jury got it wrong, that she was innocent b/c it wasn't premeditated murder, but self-defense.... she told on herself again.

 

She is a psychopath....evil. Today they are showing the interviews and she still blames him and everyone else. Unbelievable what she is saying. I heard that she got into it with her lawyers because they did not want her to talk. She is the one doing the damage to herself.

Seriously watching her makes me imagine what it would be like to talk to a female SAtan. She repulses to like no one ever has...even the pro-aborts in the abortion threads. LOL

I'll see it if/whenever you show it. So far you haven't. The tall, strong guy could have attacked her not knowing she has a gun (ever hear of pockets ?). You're being rather casual with somebody's life here.

 

Why do you ask a question in which the answer is so obvious ? An attacker can attack somebody and be shot before ever touching the person. Happens all the time. Cops routinely shoot people that way.

You assumed that Jody pointed the gun before Alexander attacked her. That doesn't make sense. If she did that, he wouldn't have attacked her. And she didn't overpower him. Her gun did that. All she needed was one movement of a finger on a trigger. And all this other stuff, how do you know ? And how does the jury know ? And stabbing someone 29 times and shooting him could easily be done in less than a minute (when he's already dead and offering no resistance). But what does this one minute have to do with it ?

Please show me some PROOF, instead of all this jibberish.

You sound like you just watched a VIDEO of all this. Did you ? If not, how do you know any of this ? All your talk is speculation. No she would not have injuries. She could have simply saw Travis coming at her, pulled the gun out of her pocket and fired (all inside of 2 seconds time). Can you absolutely disprove that ? And if you can't, are you willing to send someone to a death chamber, based on your best HUNCH ? I ask this question of the jury as well.

 

"Overpowered" ? I thought we were talking about the use of a gun. Doesn't take much "power" to pull a trigger.

 

I agree. She does seem to be quite unhinged. All the more reason to take her various versions with a grain of salt. So she's scatterbrained ? That doesn't rate the death penalty. SHOW ME something that does.

 

Casey Anthony never had positive PROOF lodged against her. She was acquitted. As it stands, she may be innocent too.
