Yes, Lukashenko is ready to start a war with products from Lithuania. Obviously they have problems with quality. You forgot to mention that.

Lukashenko has been playing a similar game like North Korea for more than 10 years.

Being nice to the West - thereby getting financial aid from the West for a time but non from Russia.

And when that aid becomes less - being nice to Russia and getting aid from them.

It`s a cricle that could potentialy continue for another 10 years.

    Unless something unexpected happens.

Like his people having enought and getting rid of him.

Or the Russians having enought and sending in their tanks.

I'm not trying to troll You! But the link was in Russian, and some visitors wouldn't be able to understand Your idea!
For example, I'll translate a bit!
On Friday Igor Gaevski stopped the turn over on the territory of the country of row foodstuffs from Russia and Lithuania.
And only two Russian companies were banned to sell their goods in Belorussia!
Not a word about sanctions! So! I think, You don't know Russian.

What I gathered is that Russia had banned certain foods from Belarus because it was being smuggled from an embargoed country ... like Lithuania for instance. Now Belarus is retaliating...on both countries I guess. To justify the actions, countries will always say it's because of the quality. No big deal ...the U.S. is use to it...France is use to it... China is use to it...everyone is use to it except the producers who are losing money.

Of course the possibility exists that whatever was being smuggled from Lithuania was really of poor quality and harmful, and this might be why Belarus retaliated against them as well as Russia.

Litwin a correction here. You said Belarus joined the free world when you should have said it left the free world...but I don't think it's another US satellite yet. :oldman:

Are you not free in the US? You're bashing it all day long, so are many other Americans on this forum and they don't seem to 'disappear' or have other repercussions... Which of your freedom is missing? Inquiring minds want to know :)

I meant to say, that under the cover of the USSR the population of Lithuania came up to 3 701 in 1991. Now it is 2 971, including those, who lives abroad.
The population of Belorussia was 10 189 in 1991. Now it is 9 468. They live at home.
Should I help You to do this sum?!
    Here is a prompt!

It is against rule to call it a lie. However, this is simply an invention. Actually, Belorussia is about to start her own sanctions against the West, together with Russia: The Customs Union between Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus formally came into existence in 2010. Its ultimate objective is to create a vast Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) stretching from the edge of the European Union to China with a single economic market for over 170 million people. In his defense I have seen "Belorussian", used so many times instead if the correct "Belarusian" it's starting to make sense to me too.

Also, I would really appreciate it if you us simpletons who do not speak Russian a rundown. While this is definitely not an English users forum, the forum does use English to communicate.

And google translate is really horrible. :(
