    I was wondering why I didn't hear about any of this on the nightly news but after reading a few web articles it is perfectly clear why

    He was a Progressive and an Atheist

    If he was a Tea Party Christian it would be the front page story in ever news paper it would be the lead story on every nightly news show CNN and MSNBC would devote 24 hour coverage on how intolerant Christians are and how the Tea Party is so full of hate

    but because he was a Progressive and an Atheist its now being reported as a dispute over a parking spot nothing more

    In another thread on this topic, 3 progressives came into the thread early on. One blamed "inbred rednecks" who were "reinforced" by people who thought that every Muslim wanted to "kill good ol' white, Christian Americans". One blamed "Christian terrorism". Another blamed "angry anti-Muslim language". After it was revealed that this was a progressive atheist who killed because of a parking space dispute, none returned to the thread to admit to their error.

    Not at all. I noticed during Obama's speech last week he didn't bring up any of the atrocities committed by secular left-wing socialists during the 20th century. Since he was trying to set up a moral equivalency with ISIS, you'd think he pick a group that has a much more recent history of mass murder than Christians in the 10th century.

    what if he killed them because they stole from him..... that doesn't justify the killing, but it's not OMGHATECRIME necessariliy.


    Funny, a progressive does this..... and it's not making much news. Had this guy been a conservative, it would be nationwide....

    I'm not sure about the OP's political leanings,

    either he set a perfect trap, or it was a complete thread backfire. Either way.... CLASSIC. So, with that said, I suspect this thread will be locked very soon in hopes of letting fall off page 1 in an attempt for conservatives to forget about what really happened and the crow they ate....

    Unlike Hitler, Stalin didn't seem to be religious.

    Again, if people want to debate the number of death caused by alleged atheists versus the number of deaths in the name of religion, I'll gladly do down that road.

    Knock yourself out. Considering that atheists murdered 100 million people in the space of one century, their capacity for mass murder is something you should go ahead and brag about.

    Congrats. You found a single monster who was likely an atheist.

    Please provide evidence. Firstly, demonstrate that the wars were caused by an atheist. Secondly, give me numbers (a ballpark is fine).

    People were religious for a much longer period of time, so the comparison wouldn't be valid. Atheism is relatively new when compared to the overall span of humanity. Certainly 80+ million deaths within a century after atheism's mainstream acceptance doesn't reflect well on the capacity for atheists to commit atrocities.
