They could move out of the building that is being bombed. They get a warning. Hamas leadership seem to get out of the way but tell children to come stand on the roof. I am sorry that you don't understand the situation. Last year over 150 rockets fell on Israel before Israel retaliated. What did they find when they did. Tunnels, some dug that came up into school yards, that would be used by Hamas terrorists to attack Israelis. That is who you are cheering for in this.

 

That's their homes. Who is going to build them another one? Who is going to build shelter for them? Its a trapped city. There is little space for the population to go.

And what's wrong with tunnels? If Hamas wants to build tunnels to defend gaza what's your problem?

Please dont be fooled by Israeli propaganda, they do drop leaflets, and they do make phone calls, but often as not they simply bomb. Thats why the UN schools were so unhappy with them last time around.

Think about it, their first priority in conflict with the Palestinians is that the west should not get wind of exactly what they do, because their entire land strategy would go up in smoke - thus they constantly run propaganda operations to persuade you that they are the most humane occupying force. Even while theyre taking land.

 

Back in 1967 the population was nearly 400,000 and it was considered one of the most crowded places on earth.. Now the population is 1.2 million... and 70% of the people who live in Gaza are refugees who were forced out of the West Bank and the Negev.

Easily, tunnels allow one to gain distance on enemy troops and convoys, allowing for surprise ambushes. Thats how Gilad Shalit was ambushed and caught. That was a military ambush - that ok with you?

Interesting, but yes they do, it goes back to 2008 when Israel broke the ceasefire by invading to destroy these tunnels leading to the capture of Shalit and then Operation Cast Lead.

And I cheer every time an IDF soldier is ambushed, killed or captured, or a tank is taken out, or a settler or occupying soldier is injured - because it saves lives.
