I live in Mass. and in the winter on a cloudy day it get's dark at 3:30 pm.

Fortunately they moved forward the date of Daylight Savings thus in the Spring and Summer people have more light to stay out and do things and have fun.

In the winter because of the kids going to school they need extra light during the early morning.

If you live down south it's not as big of a deal...but up here it is absolutely needed.

I have ran for public office as an independent three times.

In 2009 I decided to join Canada's Liberal Party partly because I really like the fact that Mr. Stephan Dion proved that his party takes climate change very seriously.

Also, I was extremely impressed by the way Mr. Michael Ignatieff responded to the 2009 budget. He termed it a relatively "liberal" budget considering that it was tabled by the Conservative Party and P. M. Stephen Harper.

It immediately became obvious that the centrist Liberal Party is the place where somebody would fit best who believes that our political opponents should be given credit....... if and when they actually deserve it.

Does P. M. Stephen Harper deserve credit for making it clear that he prefers the F-35 over any other jet?

Here is a specific case where America and Canada and our allies could cooperate to rescue populations that are in serious danger.

What I am proposing though would be done through private sector film production companies and cooperatives working together. Also...… this sort of project would require cooperation by the leadership of some Christian and LGBTQ groups if part of the idea was to rescue 937 people through the film that reasonably well represented the populations in most danger. Refugees that are LGBTQ are in every bit as much danger as Christians....(perhaps even more so)..... so if ten percent of the population is LGBTQ then 94 of the actors chosen..... should be LGBTQ..... to be fair! (In an emergency it is difficult to be perfect so let's say 70 to 110 rather than the specific 94)!

That is certainly an idea, I do applaud you for coming up with an innovative idea, and one that combines various groups for good. I would never have thought it up.

It may be plausible (i'd hope it was), but my concern is that Syriac Christians are fairly orthodox, and socially conservative in a region where LGBT (dont know what the q stands for) is frankly scorned. I don't know that they'd want to cooperate. And thats not just Christians but the regional culture generally.
