If we can find some common ground with nations that tend to oppose us...... this gives us leverage to put pressure on them to cease ethnic cleansing and grant higher and higher levels of genuine freedom.

If we do nothing about a great injustice that is happening in a Christian nation.. .. then we lose credibility to put pressure on an Islamic nation!

God's Peace Plan for the Holy Land
I read this intriguing plan for peace in the Middle East twice already! It is about fifty pages and well worth your time to consider!

    http://www.godspeaceplan.org/

(Scroll down to the link: Click Here to Download Your Copy of the Peace Plan).

Here is a review by an Islamic scholar:
    .....
    ....
I personally feel that a plan to turn the deserts of many Islamic nations green through desalination of ocean water on a large scale for irrigation of many crops (one of them certainly would be hemp for hemp oil and other products), would be a great way to get the Islamic nations involved in a project that will give them something in common with the western democracies.

Everybody in New Orleans, New Jersey, along Canada's Bay of Fundy, Holland and in every place in the world at low sea level should be very interested in this plan that is based on an ancient Islamic prophecy?!

Pastor Rick Warren might just be able to get something going though................... because I have read an intriguing Pentecostal//Charismatic style prediction about Mitt that has artistic value.... that can be translated into both diplomatic value as well as economic value!

If the Mormons could be inspired into printing up a Utah State Dollar....... it would have tremendous potential to produce many more films like "The Book of Daniel" starring Lance Henrickson that I saw a few weeks ago!

"Grace Card" was also exceptionally well done for a Christian film!

I am Canadian.... and in my my mind......... films with the label...... "Made in the USA" are the best in the world!

Documentary, Reality and Semi Reality film production that attempts to "break chains and set captives free" could alter the economy of the USA and the whole world!!!!????
    .....

    Prophetic Company
    Closed group on Facebook.

A man from Uganda has written an article on a metaphorical latter day Cyrus type of political leader..... that in a sense..... could have a significant effect on the entire world economy and perhaps become a major theme in Christian documentary and reality film production??!!

    .christianforums.com/t7681942/

Do you believe a massive Holy Spirit tsunami is coming?
Personally I love the idea put forward by a pastor in Uganda that when we Christians support and respect the Jewish people more as they play their role in bringing back Messiah, the Holy Spirit will be poured out unlike ever before in history!

That makes a lot of sense to me!

This prophecy of a massive outpouring sure sounds great to me!

OK.... so what do you think about genetically produced plants?

Do you believe that scientists can improve on nature or like me..... do you strongly suspect that they will actually set us up for disaster due to the dependence on genetically altered plants on chemical fertilizers, chemical herbicides and chemical pesticides?

Pastor Rick Warren is in a position to marshall a lot of support for an initiative that would inspire the government of Uganda to treat those two million Gay men in a more enlightened manner that might just cost American taxpayers little or nothing.

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' (Matthew 25:40)

The benefits for the American economy could be considerable.

Wait? Uganda has a population of about 36 million. Let's assume half are men, or 18 million. At 2% gay (general estimate found whenever studies have been made worldwide), that makes maybe 330,000 gay men, not 2 million. 2 million assumes that the gay male percentage in Uganda is about 11%.

I read the statistic in an article and I am not sure what was meant. Perhaps the author felt that men who even sounded effeminate would be in real danger even if they were not practicing homosexuals?

The short answer, none. Why should they? By protectin gay men in a foreign country, theyo would then be obligated to protect gay men here in the U.S. and none of the GOP would be canddiates for President would do that for risking retribution from social conservatives.

I think the best way to protect gay rights in Uganda is to expose the connections between anti-gay laws in Africa and fundamentalist groups in America. A lot of missionary influence has encouraged aggression against gays.

Then again, it's also true that some missionary groups are trying to protect gays.

You could be right Alwayssa……. I am certainly no expert… but the results of that poll are somewhat encouraging. Over ninety percent of the respondents would term themselves "Christian" and I am sure that the exact same poll if taken in 1985 among a similar group of people would have yielded very different results.

    G. O. P. candidates must take into consideration how Christianity itself is changing and becoming less dogmatic….. less simplistic……… somewhat less religious and a little bit more spiritual.

Because the law in its original form could well be compared to policies of the NAZI party of Germany back in the '30's and '40's.

I just got back a truly brilliant response to my opening post over here in another discussion........ post #22.....

I assume that even if somebody's voice sounded effeminate… they might be in danger if something like this got started?

Actually….. whatever President Obama did for the Gay Community of Uganda……. he deserves some credit….. because the atmosphere has greatly changed there?!

Pastor Rick Warren deserves some credit too for the video that he did……

Really? Really? It's the missionaries faults? Are you SURE it's not the centuries of outdated laws and beliefs of the Ugandan people?

We need to change THEIR views.

How about we let you try this one again...

Well…………. if you were to put that opinion on Youtube.com….. the footage could be useful because films devoid of conflict are boring…… The following proposal would need at least a few documentary projects to get it started……

    http://www.politicalforum.com/gay-l...cooperate-christians-rescue-937-refugees.html
Proposal for LGBTQ groups to cooperate with Christians to rescue 937 refugees...
I am thinking from Jordan or Turkey........

… and the way for this to happen is..... to partly replicate the M. S. St. Louis situation.... .but then postulate an entirely different scenario. One in which the 900 plus refugees actually ended up living in Nova Scotia rather than being sent back to Europe where so many eventually were murdered in the holocaust.

Actually….. Serfin'USA did pretty good……. he qualified his first assertion with his third sentence…….

(I just went back to page 4 and upped his rep for that one………. it is rather rare to see somebody doing their best to look at all relevant sides to a question)!

I just think it's all irrelevant. The Ugandan culture is to blame. Not anything else.

Is this really the criteria that should be considered for the election of the president of AMERICA?

Sounds like a question the gay men of Uganda should ask their own president, no?

Life in prison for the gays is from the 19th century colonial rule of Britain. Adopted by Uganda in the Penal Code Act 1950. Your love of hating America is showing.

With all the war, genocide and starvation suffered by the Ugandan people, I question the motives of those who now insist that we must protect homosexuals in Uganda.
