If so, then there's nothing else for us to debate. You at least have to have a general idea of what you're talking about, otherwise nothing will ever get accomplished.

What digging...i found multiple sites in 1 minute, including Wikipedia, that say there has been slavery in Africa long before anyone from EU showed up. And of course, all the animal lords running things there today, trade slaves daily and teach them how to kill their enemies from an early age. They're all slaves because if you cross the masters and disobey, you get shot.

Anecdotally my people settled in North America via Canada. There was never any significant Canadian trade in African slaves.

While I have no doubt that more than a few ancestors in my past were racists, they categorically had no direct connection with the importation of Africans via the slave trade.

I'll personally file a class-action counter-suit to any attempt at extorting reparations from those who have no ancestral background in the slave trade.

It's almost hard to blame the guy claiming there wasn't slavery in Africa before whites arrived on the scene; this is the crap that is being taught in Black Studies courses in universities across the U.S. Heck, it's even being taught in some inner city schools that want to 'empower' black students.

Not sure if you're simply a racist who lumps white professors teaching engineering with those teaching liberal arts, but we should really stay away from stereotypes, don't you think?

Now, I believe your position is that slavery didn't exist in Africa until white explorers arrived, and it was these white people who introduced slavery to the primitive people of that continent? As I said, this nonsense as well as other myths are frequently taught in various leftist programs in U.S. universities, but would you agree that most of the country's leftist academia, let alone mainstream university instruction, disagrees with this?

Just curious, is a black professor who teaches history that most of mainstream academia calls correct, but conflicts with the myths some of our ignorant minority students are taught, does this make this particular black professor a racist victimizing other black people? Why aren't Great Britain, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal included on the list to pay? The United States did not establish slavery in the Americas, in fact slavery existed for less time under the United States than when this was all European land. The United States has already paid TRILLIONS in reparations.

 

Racial identity is a curious thing.

For one of the census questionaires they do every decade as required, I left the race section blank. I was called and asked what race/ethnicity am I?

I replied I didn't want to participate in the national race registry. Was told it is required I answer by law. I told him I've had a rough week and I wish I was in the island right now, so put down that I'm a Pacific Islander. He responded, "you sound white" and that he was putting it down that's what I was, and hung up.

I'm not white. But, apparently, there a NEW version of racial identity. Your accent. Maybe I should have used some Spanish, then he would have determined I'm Latino/Hispanic - which also is inaccurate.

 

Followed by calling Germany to do the same regarding Jews and the Holocaust. Followed by calling England to do the same regarding Ireland, then Afghanistan regarding women. NOT!
