What positive things can you say about President Obama?

Democrats want to fix it; Republicans want to repeal it, if for no other reason than it has Obama's name on it. I would not hold my breath waiting for a conservative to come up with a better plan. As long as it doesn't have your party's seal of approval, my attempts to change your mind are wasted effort.

 

How's that Kool Aid treating you? Bailing out failed banks and inflating more economic bubbles in the process, which really is more the Fed's doing than 0bama's, is hardly an accomplishment!

 

Democrats refuse to even acknowledge it needs fixing let alone propose any. Republicans agree with the insurance companies that the whole program is unsustainable.

What are you trying to change my mind about and I have no party I am an independent.

Again where is Obama it is HIS program and he won't even acknowledge the pain and suffering it is causing and just wants to get out of office and wash his hands of it. A total incompetent and worthless president.

You want to change the nation's wealth? The only way to do that is through jobs. Jobs will bring up the poor. You don't create jobs by increasing taxes on the rich or companies. That only drives them off shore. You only have to read and listen to the news to know that. Obama is already complaining of the rich and companies leaving to excape his tax hikes and forced health care and regulations.

 

Oh yes they have. Burnie wants to trash it and start over and Hilary wants to keep it and fix it.

One of the big problems with implementing Obamacare has been the Republican states' boycott against accepting federal funds to augment Medicaid. We need parity in coverage and AFFORDABLE rates for all as well as universal coverage to make ANY healthcare system successful and acceptable. Those who can afford insurance but defy the mandate are irresponsible and are placing a greater burden on policyholders.

We are again entering an era which can be likened to the pre-Civil War period, and partisan politics, particularly between states, involve obstruction rather than compromise. WE DO NEED A FEDERALLY- RUN SYSTEM.

I have seriously considered the allegations against Hillary, but fail to find motivation for illicit personal benefit, and ALL present candidates have questionable backgrounds.

I am backing Hillary because she is the ONLY candidate COMPETENT to fill the office. She is particularly knowledgeable about little-known underlying problems in the healthcare industry.

 

That wouldn't change the rates and we have what we have and it ain't working and needs to be fixed. Obamacare has lessened coverage and made health insurance less affordable.

So what is Obama doing to fix it? Can you give me anything? Something? Or just blame someone else?

The figures are indeed interesting, but they only serve to illustrate the enormity of the gap that exists involving the distribution of wealth in the United States. ONLY 2/10 OF ONE PERCENT OF THAT 86 TRILLION DOLLARS (OUR NATIONAL WEALTH) BELONGS TO THE BOTTOM 40% OF OUR NATION!!! The constant drain of capital resources by an overexploitive corporate class has placed an unfair burden on the middle class and government to address deficiencies. IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT WE ARE THE RICHEST NATION IN THE WORLD; WHAT MATTERS IS WHO IS SNATCHING UP AND HOARDING THAT MONEY.

What I would be interested in hearing is a universally acceptable plan to redistribute that wealth. (I don't think Bernie Sanders has it.)

 

Congress has attempted to repeal Obamacare 60 times. I'm sure you realize that there IS a resistance. Do you really think that Republicans are going to ALLOW Obamacare to be fixed this late in his second term, especially in light of the upcoming election?

To answer your question, I have no inside information on what Obama is doing to fix it, so I will just blame the ANTI-AMERICAN PARTISANS who blocked its sources of funding. I would imagine that Obama is hoping that Hillary's relationship with the next Congress will allow HER to fix it.

I am all for downsizing government, especially in the levels of hierarchy and excessive number of management staff. However, we must take steps to ensure EFFICIENCY and ACCOUNTABILITY. Government operations can be more economical and ethical if WE take an interest in overseeing it. Government employees were not meant to be welfare recipients.

You and I have gone on and on about this in several different threads, and my viewpoints, as yours, are not likely to change. Redundant questions will likely get redundant responses, if any.

 

It's not a "viewpoint" it is a fact. The Obama administration and the Democrats in Congress have not even admitted it desperately needs to be fixed else quote them where they have. And that let alone present any proposals to fix it else link me them doing so.
