Explain how poverty makes you a violent person.

A poor man will resort to anything to survive. The evidence is true all over the planet. Are you kidding?

They're not out in the woods taking down game with their bare hands, all they have to do is go to the mailbox for their EBT card.

They're not violent because they're poor, they're poor because they're violent.

You're talking about people that glorify violence, substance abuse, and a complete lack of morals.

There are plenty of rich thugs out there. Aaron Hernandez is a great example of that. You can take the thug out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the thug.

I don't think you know what statistically means. LOL. Based on their small numbers the rich STILL have very few violent crimes.

I grew up poor in the suburbs and I am nowhere near being a criminal. My brother and I both put ourselves through college. Most of my friends ended up just like me. It's not the poverty. It's the culture. We worked hard to succeed.

I think the difference was that we had 2 parents who taught the value of hard work. Inner city kids don't get that and it shows.

Exactly. You have a culture of people who are told they're victims, and are taught to expect not to succeed.

They drop out of school, they procreate before they can walk, they have one, or even zero, parents, drugs and substance abuse abound, and everything they watch and listen to promotes violence.

They're being programmed to be violent and obedient to those who issue their welfare.

My parents started out with nothing when they married right out of high school in the 60s. After raising their family, I tutored her through several college math courses and she finished her B.S. in Geographic Information Systems years after my brother and I finished college. Why did we do so well when we grew up 5 miles from the worst neighborhoods in Dallas?

I have many friends with similar stories. One friend became a doctor and didn't like it. He worked as a plumber and put himself through engineering school. Now he is an engineer at Texas Instruments. His parents worked his butt off growing up. I wish I had half the discipline that guy has. He even rebuilt the engine in his VW Beetle in high school.

That's the thing, they could be anything they want, but all they are taught is that to work hard makes them like the white people, and they can't have that.

The one's who don't subscribe to the victim nonsense can easily become successful. There are a million minority based programs out there that they don't use.

Why can't they use the one that is simplest and must be most cost effective; equal application of the law regarding the concept of employment at will.

Legal gun owners who are regulated. No one argues against guns. That is just your NRA talking points mentality.

No, you are a Political hackster that hates NRA and pretends NRA is some faceless coorporate institution that represents firearms manufacturers as the Tobacco lobby represents Tobacco companies and is not an organization with a membership of smokers.

NRA represents a membership of gun owners, has a board of directors made up from the pool of available members, NRA financials are available to any interested party on demand.
To misrepresent NRA as a mere lobby is false, NRA represents gun owners and helps defend their rights, I am an NRA member.

Why don't hypocrites like you go after the billionaire Tobacco lobby ? Tobacco products and use in all its forms kills more people than firearms does, nicotine is a deadly poison if ingested even in small amounts ! even chewing Tobacco is know to cause cancer.
So when you talk about Tobacco deaths and healthcare cost related to Tobacco use,, Why not address that issue ?

Why not insist the legislators of the State of New York, simply bear true faith and allegiance to their own supreme law of the land regarding the security of a free State?

The people do that by voting for the politicians that bear true faith and allegiance to the supreme law of the land regarding the security of a free State.

This is what I am referring to: The defense and protection of the state and of the United States is an obligation of all persons within the state. The legislature shall provide for the discharge of this obligation and for the maintenance and regulation of an organized militia.

There is no need to delegate any more police power than that.

Apparently the need to go far above and beyond the intent of the framers of the U.S. Constitution and BOR seems to be a common occurrence nowadays.
