WOW!!! Christians who follow their faith have received death threats against their son for refusing to bake a cake to celebrate the gay lifestyle. How can homosexual activists believe that threatening death to a Christian will make people rally in support of gay-sex and the gay lifestyle?

It is getting to the point that despite the 1st Amendment, there needs to be a Federal law for religious freedom and homosexual activists should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for trying to deny 1st Amendment rights of others.

There is no law or right that states that others can be forced into servicing or accepting the gay lifestyle

 

Big shocker there, everything with this crowd is about filling a body orifice with something that doesn't belong there. They just can't get their perversion off their minds.

 

Every single person making a death threat or any attempt to threaten or scare those people should be ashamed of themselves. Those people may have acted immaturely and foolishly by refusing to make a cake for such a godawful retarded reason, but they did not kill or threaten to kill anybody. The harm they caused was not physical.

And the idiots making the death threats are only hurting the cause they seem to support.

Bigotry and intolerance are absolutely important to stand up to, but you don't do it with violence and threats. These folks need to redirect their anger into something that's actually productive or at the very least neutral to whatever causes or sides they are sympathetic to. Every time one of these asshats does something like this, it only reinforces the resolve of the bigots to justify their bigotry and intolerance.

So shame on the bakers for being petty and foolish, but even bigger shame on the people threatening them, because in my opinion being smart enough to know you don't hate somebody just because of the gender they are attracted to should mean you're smart enough to know threatening physical violence is just as stupid and more.

So while I support same-sex marriage and the removal of every other legal hurdle arbitrarily placed on gay folks(and really any folks that are targeted), I absolutely don't support physical threats and tend to view the folks that make them as just as bad or worse than the people they threaten.

 

Death threats over a damn CAKE?! My gawd, I'd hate to see what these morons threatening death b/c a cake wasn't baked would do over something REALLY serious!

People need to let the trivial stuff go and move on.

Note that the source of the article is an anti gay, Christian hate organization that constantly promote hatred and bigotry towards anyone who is not white and straight, or at least pretending to be straight.



That being said, there is nothing within Christian mythological writings that dictate they promote their bigottry through not baking a cake.

This hatred in the name of Jesus seems to be counter to the actual teachings of the mythological character.

If a gay couple ran a bakery and a straight couple ordered a wedding cake, the gay couple said 'Sorry, no. We only do orders from gay couples' - what's the diff? It's how they gay couple think, feel and how they run their business. So the straight couple leaves and finds another baker.........see how simple that would be?

They aren't discriminating against gay people. They are refusing to participate in a gay marriage ceremony on religious grounds. There is a difference.

When is it ok to discriminate and not discriminate? If we start with gay people, who else are we allowed to discriminate against next?

Bottom line. If you don't want to bake a cake for everyone, then shut down your PUBLIC business and do it privately. Pretty simple if you ask me.

I looked in the bible and I cannot find any passages that say "thou shall not bake cakes for homosexuals". The story involving Subway I believe takes place in the UK who's laws are different then the USA's.

So if a guy has religiously been buying a ham sub at the Subway store across the street from where he lives, and a Muslim complains, he now has to drive 26 miles to the nearest Subway to get his ham fix? You fascists want to interfere with every single aspect of a person's life.

 

So go on a crusade around the world and convince people of the Muslim faith to change their ways. We're not fascists, we're realists. The Bakery is Legit. They have very positive customer service reviews. There are 67 bakeries listed in the yellow pages. I smell a rat. One of two things happened.1) the couple went to this bakery, the owners explained their position, and this couple never even tried another bakery. Scenario 2) this couple went searching bakeries until they found one that would refuse to make the cake. I bet that's the story. They wanted to be the victims. Poor babies
