    Yea be honest...

You don't know (*)(*)(*)(*) about the CRA, I do, been (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about it for the last 20 yearse or so......

Bill Clinton basically (and idiot republicans traded it for DOMA) destroyed our economy with the CRA.... This slick POS actually had the audacity to pretty much force banks to lend to people based on their skin color.... If you were black in 1995 it was free money...

Now that (*)(*)(*)(*) Billary wants to repeat?

Whatever.... You keep striving to (*)(*)(*)(*) this country up - hence me up...

Wrong. The fault for the 2008 crisis lay directly at the feet of investment bankers that packaged and sold (gambled on) bad debt and lied about the contents of the package to the buyers, including 401k investments, etc.

    That's FRAUD.

They knew what they were doing. They knew it was fraud. They knew what would happen. But they can also rely on the idiotic right wing delusionists to leap to their defense in the name of capitalism and market fluidity.

The result? Not one criminal in jail, not one person that destroyed the financial lives of others in jail. Not one. Madoff did the -exact same type of scheming- and he rots in prison. But Goldmann Sachs Execs?

    Golden parachutes, one and all.

Yeah thats right blame the right for nobody going to jail. Both republicans and democrats are owned by wall street. Which Department of Justice made a deal with Goldman Sachs again the other day?

They are all in bed with Wall Street. Doesn't matter if you are left or right.

I am. But you are not.

I see zero comments from you back how the banks were hiding their bundled bad loans, selling them around for huge profits and multi million pay checks.

I'll look forward to that time, but only because I'll be able to go to McDonalds and not worry about spit in my food, employees that treat you like (*)(*)(*)(*) because they hate their job and have never been taught to take pride in what they do, I'll actually be able to understand the communication between us, and my food will probably look like it's supposed to.

I blamed right wingers that specifically defend this corporate grabass for the freedom these crooks enjoy, and I'll defend that. Because I could not see a single one of you supporting Obama's administration throwing them in jail, let alone agreeing with the reasoning for him doing so.

I don't support him, nor do I support the democrats. But I see the argument that these guys are not crooks PRIMARILY FROM RIGHT WINGERS ON THIS VERY FORUM. I have -never- seen a liberal defend it.

    NO I'm 100% right...

The government actually passed laws that dictated banking....

And people wonder why I hate fascists and call progressives fascists?

You (*)(*)(*)(*)s (*)(*)(*)(*) me off so much to the point it's impossible to even discuss current events...

With that said - I don't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about your explanation.... I have heard it 1000 times...

Because first of all you get your $150k from thinking it is from 1 gas station lol. And again that is his earnings before you take out what he has to pay every year for the loan. His combined profits are from 2 separate stores. As I said the national average for a gas station owner with 1 gas station is $77k after taxes. It's very rare 1 store, even a large high volume gas station owner like a Loves, to rake in over a 3 figure salary after he pays his workers. Averages for a cashier at a loves is around $25k a year, and a manager gets around $70K a year. And you have to think he is employing 5 or 6 cashiers alone and probably around 2 managers. This does not include if the store has tire techs and those that work the truck wash because most Loves have both since they get a high volume of truckers.

Even for a regular BP or Shell, you do not understand the pay scales. Cashiers are around $20k per year depending on location and the volume of the store they can make up to around $25k as well. Which is another thing you do not take into account, you can only pay and employ so many people based on what kind of volume your store can do. If you dont balance out workers pay as well as constantly wheeling and dealing the price of the gasoline you have to buy you are not going to have any kind of profits for yourself. Owning a gas station is pretty much the same thing as investing in stocks, if you don't pay attention you can easily lose out, there is nothing constant about owning a gas station, everyday is a different story on sales whether they be up or down.

Which is why a $15/hr minimum wage across the country is retarded because you are going to end up hurting the smaller stores that do not have that high of volume. Even the bigger stores will suffer and then they will have to raise prices to make sure they can keep everyone hired and keep giving them a paycheck.

Like I said, you do not understand the business or how any business works for that matter. You take little into account and you only see that a guy makes $77k from 1 store while his cashiers make $20-$25k and you just expect him to give awayanother $10k for every cashier he has working. Which is at least 4 cashiers, so thats another $40k and the guy goes from $77k down to $37k per year to call his own. So yes, you are saying you want cashiers to make damn near as much as the owner lol.

Sorry, again.....your math and general outlook on reality sucks.

He is an owner, so how much he makes in the end fluctuates, he is taking a gamble. A air traffic controllers salary is set by his employer. So instead of (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)ing about a guy who makes good business decisions to make a 6 figure salary why don't you go (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) to airports about how you feel an air traffic controller should make more money.

You complain about that, but at the same time you think a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing fry cook should make as much as an auto mechanic or a semi truck driver lol. Your hypocrisy is seriously shining again.

Again you avoid any kind of reality and stay inside your dream world. Once again he only brings in that kind of money because he OPERATES 2 GAS STATIONS, so each gas station only brings in $75k a piece. Another thing you are avoiding are factors like volume, what the gas station sells as far as drinks and snacks, the size of the gas station, the location, the brands that people prefer over others. No 2 gas stations are really the same because of all these factors. So yeah depending on many things 1 gas station owner will make more than others.

According to your lack of common sense, and a serious case of tunnel vision, all mechanic shops should make the exact same in profits lol? Your logic is really off on this one.

The thing is I never mentioned as to why he worked a second job, but you go on ahead and keep making whatever BS up lol. It had nothing to do with bad pay, but on his salary he could not afford to have a pool installed in his backyard. So to get that luxury he got a second job and used that as savings for almost 3 years so he could pay for the pool outright instead of taking out a loan. It's called being responsible and saving up for what you want and not getting yourself in a bad situation lol.

So what, you going to tell me now that a teachers pay should be enough to buy a $100k pool outright lol?

Again owning a business is not on the same playing field as a stuck salary job. Owners of businesses do not have a flat salary they can count on, they have to make decisions and hope for the best. Air traffic controllers make that kind of money the moment they step foot in the door. They are financially stable, an owner of a business does not have a stable salary, he or she gets the remaining after taking care of everything from employee pay to maintenance , bills, taxes, supplies, and a bevy of other things they have to put into their business or businesses.

But again, you don't understand that, or the differences in the 2 jobs lol. Think logically, and not with the voice in your head that is telling you that you are owed a bigger piece of the pie just because you want it.

Stop being so narrow minded. Your jealousy is astounding lol.

Make eVerify mandatory for employment and ALL government benefits. Then take away their ability to keep legitimate jobs with phony, underage or stolen social security numbers. The SSA and IRS are all too well aware of multiple people using a single social security number. With modern computer databases, it wouldn't be hard to pluck out all the duplicate, non issued or under age users excepting the original issuee. Then send notices to their employers the duplicate users payments are coming from that there appears to be an error and they must verify the social security number within 30 days or face massive fines and jail time. Then move on to the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number filers, requiring them to provide their valid visa's allowing them to remain legally in the country, send notices to their employers the ITIN employee payments are coming from must verify the employee's valid visa within 30 days or face massive fines and jail time. Compile a list of those failing to provide the valid visa's and investigate if they are in the country legally, if not deport them.

If they hammered a few of the biggest employer of illegals, the rest would get very paranoid.

I'm perfectly well aware that it is from 2.

    And well.

I'm rather certain I found the theme in there from your endless ranting.

    1) Not telling me anything new
    2) That's actually a heck of a lot of money compared to 20K.
    3) 75K for being responsible of the store while you preform the unskilled task of a cashier is a huge amount.

Make it 6. So he needs to pay 6 cashiers 8K. Almost 50K in total.
Hence his personal pay check is now a 100K, deduct the loan.. it's 50K.

    Sounds about right to me.
Do note. I don't think his job is special at all to boss around 6 people who preform a job that require no skill.
To boss around 6 people of unskilled labour,.. I dunno. Should probably be around 40K.
So he gets another 10K for being the owner.

The air traffic controller is a highly skilled profession. They may not operate longer than 2 hours, for the sake that 100's of people dont crash and die. And they make 100K. So the gas station manager should earn a lot less. Makes perfect sense in my book. And it seems you don't got a clue what it is to have the responsibility of 100's of people's lives. You're just fixated on but that guy runs his business of 5 people doing unskilled labor. lol

I can only guess that you are a 15 or 16 year old kid trolling. Kudos, nice job. The fact is that running a business is a lot more than bossing around ex-cons and high schoolers (such as yourself). You have books to keep, payroll to process, regulations to comply with. You have to manage and coordinate with contractors, plumbers, HVAC guys, landscaping. The list goes on. You have a LOT of responsibility. Frankly, 75K is not a lot of money for that job.

But you are not using the little brain power you have that we are discussing 2 stores, and below you will find out where your logic fails.

No, you are just here to (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and complain and disagree to disagree.

    1) Im trying to educate you where your logic fails. But you like to ignore facts that do not fit your ignorant narrative which is why you cut them out.
    2) Well duh, he is the owner so he is going to make more.
    3) $75k for making all the business decisions, keeping track of what needs to be ordered, covering maintenance costs and any repairs, dealing with logistics and making sure your shipments are coming in on time while you simply scan an item and ask for money. Yep, no wonder the boss gets the bigger paycheck.

Hey smart guy, this is where your logic fails. Remember we are talking 2 stores, so that is a total of 6 employees for EACH STORE. that comes to a total of 12 employees overall. So you want to give 12 employees an extra $8k off the top which adds to an extra of $96k out of the owners take home. Once again leaving the owner of 2 stores with $44k when he has to work everyday, even while on vacation.

Once again, your logic and math is horrible.

Because you have never been a boss of anything, you don't understand that he pays for everything you do wrong. You have no idea what it's like to be an owner and not even close to educated on the matter. Which makes your argument irrelevant and most of all childish .

Again which is where your argument is flawed and extremely juvenile and shows you have an absolute lack of knowledge on how running a business works.

americans wouldn't have to rely on fast food salaries for a living as a career if crony capitalists would create better jobs, and allow more investments in education and job training with higher taxes on the rich to pay for it.

apparently many skilled jobs are going unfilled, and many people with college degrees are working at fast food. something is missing here.

this way both illegal immigrants and americans could pursue better lives.

I give it 10-20 years tops before the fast food industry is almost entirely automated. Minimum wage jobs shouldn't be seen as careers. They're supposed to be temporary jobs that people take up while they go to college (preferably studying a useful major) or trade school. Sure, there are people with disabilities who can't do any better, but those people are subsidized by government anyways. The vast majority of people I see protesting in these "Fight for 15" protests are able bodied. We have 5.4 million jobs open in this country if people were willing to learn some skills and get qualified.

Books to keep, and payroll to process, taxes is something you outsource as every small business does. The only contractors you have are the suppliers of gas. You check the meter how much every day you got and place a call for some more. The end. The other crap you sell in your store is crap you bought in whole sale stores where they sell stuff in bulk. You do that like ones a month. Plumbers and HVAC is something that is installed and never look at till it's broke. Landscaping? We're talking about a gas station! lol

So it's seriously not hard at all to check how much gas there is, and do some whole sale bulk groceries.
The only crap you need to worry about are regulations. Ones you read them... kind of it.
So that doesn't support the idea of 75K a year, since it is mostly about bossing around 3 unskilled labor people.

Also... that 1.6 million for a gas station is quiet a stretch.
Plenty of gas stations can be bought for 300 to 500k,..
if you're going for an average station for a 75K a year.

Nope I am taking into account he makes 150K all the time.

So far no corrections to be seen.

    What business decisions? lol
Like,.. should I open my store today? The entire business of a gas station has been fully exhausted. There is no innovation on their end.

Paying bills is a no skill required job.

    .
You scan an item, your computer keeps track of how many are left in the store.
You only need to check if people haven't been stealing.
Hence, you count your bags of chips and bottles of beer.
    A no skill required job.

You only need 6 people for 2 stores if you also have 2 managers and the owner.

    I'll raise you this:
    Convenience Store with Mobil gas

Since we've been talking about the average gas station. That is kind of it. It aint no 1.6 million. It's 590k. And tbh it's a bit above average if you asked me. You can buy one for half that price as well. Do note, that 550K one is run by 3 to 6 people. Hence my 9 people for 2 stores is perfectly sound.

So it's actually your numbers that aint right with your 1.6 million and an average of 75K a store.
Also, I like to read the source where the guy making 150k a year says that its excluding the interest of his lone.

Compared to a air traffic controller... yup being a gas station owner is rather easy. In case you missed it an air traffic controller earns like 110K a year, and a gas station owner 150K and that makes him too poor to pay 15 bucks an hour to his minimum wage gang. lol

You have plumbing, AC, refrigerators, gas pumps. There is stock to maintain. Soda fountains, coffee, perishables, etc. There are employees to manage. Payroll, schedules. Books to keep, taxes, gross receipts. There may be grounds to maintain. Much of the equipment will need routine maintenance. These are just the things I can think of off the top of my head. Tell you what, why don't you come back to the conversation after you hit puberty.

You don't need a Masters Degree in Economics to figure out what White Castle or any of the other companies are going to do. They are either going to cut their profit margins, find some way to buy items they need at lower cost, or they are going to have to jack up their prices. They may do a little of all three.

If White Castle starts using crappier ingredients that cost less they will probably lose customers. If they jack up their prices they will definitely lose customers. If they become less profitable the investors will bail on their stock and the whole company will go down and that will probably mean even lower quality and more unhappy customers, plus management won't be able to jack prices any higher because they're already in trouble. Cut to the chase, who ever dreamed up this minimum wage doubling should have to live with it themselves and survive in the aftermath of it. But government politicians never have to live with the mess they create for the rest of us. Remember how a bunch of Democrats decided that everybody should buy a house even if they could not make the payments? Boy that sure worked out well didn't it?

Im not going to argue with you anymore based on the fact you are hard headed and willfully ignorant about running a business. And the fact that you think being a cash register should pay for a home/apartment, car, food and pay the bills is absolutely absurd in the first place.

But I will leave you with this point, saying gas stations are only $500k. Yes some are, but it depends on the property, the size, the company, and the volume that judges the price for every particular gas station. Again you are narrow minded and dont consider anything realistic.

For instance, this "high volume" Chevron has an asking price of $2.5million
    http://www.bizbuysell.com/Business-...=/wEFGyUyZmdhcy1zdGF0aW9ucy1mb3Itc2FsZSUyZg==

This small Mobil1 station is only $95k
    http://www.bizbuysell.com/Business-...=/wEFGyUyZmdhcy1zdGF0aW9ucy1mb3Itc2FsZSUyZg==

This Valero station is going for $2.9million
    http://www.bizbuysell.com/Business-...=/wEFGyUyZmdhcy1zdGF0aW9ucy1mb3Itc2FsZSUyZg==

    This Exxon is $1.24million
    http://www.bizbuysell.com/Business-...=/wEFGyUyZmdhcy1zdGF0aW9ucy1mb3Itc2FsZSUyZg==

And this small Shell is only $89k .
    http://www.bizbuysell.com/Business-...=/wEFGyUyZmdhcy1zdGF0aW9ucy1mb3Itc2FsZSUyZg==

You aware that your parents manage their plumbing, the AC and fridge for you? All people who own houses do that. It aint a big thing. lol

Dude. Looking how much stock / gas / soda fountains / coffee is around.... is the minimum wage job requirement.

Zero skilled labor force.... zero skilled is required.

I told this before this is outsourced, to accounted agencies. About every small business does that. The fact you don't know this, just says it all it's you who doesn't know how this works.

A gas station manager got 3 high school drop outs who do unskilled work.
A teacher manages like 30 little midgets all day and schedules what they do.
A air traffic controller manages multiple pilots with 100's of lives at stake and schedules what they do.

Seems rather obvious who should be standing where. And so far you indeed find an air traffic controller to be not so important, just because he doesn't need an account agency to do the taxes.

    Blows my mind. lol
