What a joke. Really shows you how dumbed down the American people are. 100 trillion in unfunded liabilities and the top news story for weeks was Bruce Jenner's mental illness and perversions.

 

It is no uncommon for people who go through reassignment surgery to either express a desire to go back or actually do it within the first 10 years.

 

In a couple years her show will have been cancelled, she makes her money, we forget about her and she magically transforms back into Bruce and laughs his way to the Bahamas .

 

Bruce doesn't need to be a woman anymore. Now, any creepy old man can peak in the little girl's room.

When its called Gender Confusion it makes senses for those confused to be confused about their confusion.

 

Okay, but neither will cost you $40K, so you can have both.

 

Being subjected to open hatred from a significant proportion of the general public would put anyone under intense pressure so social and emotional pressure to return to a false image of perceived normality is inevitable. That would be increased for Caitlyn Jenner given her public profile (though that’s largely of her own making).

None of this proves the concepts of gender identity and transgenderism are in any way false or flawed.

 

Feeling people with mental issues should get help instead of their illness being catered to is not "hatred".... "Hate" is being used wrongly almost as much as "Racism" and "fear" are.

 

I think he's transitioning back because his reality show bombed.

 

Bruce had a reality series in place following his transition before he even confirmed it. It is all of his own making.

I did not make a statement in this thread that it was in some ways false or flawed.

 

BRUCE just wants attention. When mamma Kardasian kicked him to the curb, he felt left out so he started his on freak show. When people stop paying attention to him, he will change to something else.

 

So how do Trump fans...who are also anti-transgender rights....resolve the paradox that their Maximum Leader said...

People with dicks don't have a right to use the ladies room. Trump allowed a friend of his , who, like Trump is into women, to use whatever bath room he wishes to. Big deal. I never backed a candidate that shared 100% of my views. No one ever has. Orange is the new black.

 

The publicity stunt has run it's course. Yes, many people are really gullible and stupid.

Besides he's already won Woman Of The Year. Maybe he also can get Man Of The Year.

He will do ANYTHING for publicity. This is just the next thing. It is how he has $100,000,000.00. He understands how foolish many people are.

My point is that it's no excuse. Made all this nonsense about thinking he's a woman, now who the hell is surprised that he misses being a dude? It's a mental illness.

 

I'm sure it has been quite difficult and I wish him/her the best. Many of us share the challenge of being lesbians trapped in men's bodies but we don't have the money or the leisure to go through it like Bruce/Cait did, that I can tell you for sure.

 

I agree, that in itself isn’t hatred. Transgender people still experience a lot of what is direct and barely hidden hatred on a daily basis though (as do identifiable members of lots of other groups of course). That could easily lead some to give up on openly transitioning even if they feel it would be the right direction for them.

You didn’t but it was the point of the OP and I’m not sure why else you’d bring up the point of reversing transition in that context.

 

I don't think it's for attention getting. I've known a few people that have regretted transitioning from male to female. The grass always looks greener on the other side of the fence, but once you get there you have to mow it.
