The screenwriter wanted to introduce a plot device to explain the film's protagonist being able to jump into the consciousness of another person through time travel. They combined a few existing mathematical terms..."Calculus" and "Parabolic" to further the plot because most of the audience probably never made it past algebra and would think this field of mathematics actually exists.

As I say, I'm done arguing....I avoid the conspiracy sections of the forum for a reason and "parabolic calculus" belongs there.

I would just like to detail out the purpose of Parabolic Calculus and as I stated we have actually moved on from this.

A while back when M-Theory came out which is the theory that within a Multiverse an infinite number of Alternate Divergent Universal Realities were separated from each other by a Membrane and they they called it Brane Theory and that changed to M-Theory.

Because of this all sorts of comparisons came out with some Physicists and Cosmologist comparing the Many Worlds Model to the huge number of bubbles in one's foamy BEER!!

The PROBLEM with Parabolic Calculus was that it only took into account just ONE BASELINE REALITY UNIVERSAL GROUPING.....and in a Multiverse......there also exists infinite in number Baseline Reality Universal Groupings.

A single one of these Universal Groupings contains INFINITE numbers of Universal Realities but they all have the exact same natural physical laws.

This is MANY WORLDS THEORY.

But my group and myself knew that in an Infinite System it is not possible to only have one baseline reality grouping......because in an infinite system ALL POSSIBLE BASELINE REALITY UNIVERSAL GROUPINGS MUST EXIST!!!

My wife pretty much runs the home here.....

she hasn't even bothered to get her drivers license yet because she knows that I am going to
