It was more of a rhetorical question.

The fact I know what they want does not mean I understand their reasoning.

Women want different things during different stages in their life, don’t even try to figure it out. Men are not really that different they also change and grow throughout life and therefore “what a man wants” changes… except for sex of course lol… sex also changes for a woman… but let's not go into that here.

People are different and therefore I try not to meet their needs. Instead I live my life as best I can, dictated by circumstance and try to be as happy as I possibly can. I accept others the way they are…less than perfect and hope they accept me, as I am…. flawed and full of baggage.

I like people who are less than perfect, they make me feel better about myself no I’m just kidding….. well they do, but I also find them interesting.

At this age (in my 40’s) I like to befriend interesting people, not for what they can do for me, but what I can learn from them and the zest they bring to my life.

It's all of a piece, you should excuse the expression. You're describing women who want their every whim catered to, and who insist on being treated like princesses when they act like witches; and that's all great sitcom material, but no woman ever respected a man who treated her, even for a NY minute, like that.

The problem with this is that,... we need everyone working together.
We need not shoot it out for ourselves,... regardless of how it may hurt the community, the nation, or the whole world.

Uhhhhh, first,




To have a great education that got them the super job they wanted with a big salary and plenty of perks and INDEPENDENCE and a Perfect home in a good part of town close to work.

Plenty of opportunities to travel anywhere they choose, to have opportunities to meet sex partners, to have total reproductive freedom without government interference.

To participate in any hobby or sport of their choosing.......and not be ripped off by every auto mechanic in America....

 

I am a guy, but I think most often the problem stems from the way some men try to fix things rather than just that they try to fix it. Whenever we step in and suggest, purposely or not, that the person(woman, but I think this crosses genetic boundaries) complaining is somehow incapable of fixing the problem themselves we border on being insulting.

If we give the person respect and ask about specifics and suggest outside the box solutions or perspectives it can sometimes help. Of course most of the time its best to just listen and offer sympathetic support, but most of the big problems I've seen from 'trying to help' involve a lot of what I describe above.

 

Yes, if men view women , not as helpless little creatures who need a man's "wise" counseling and protection , but individual human beings who are all different the problem would be solved....

 

You and I obviously do not spend time around the same types of women....I am going by my own experience over the years and current evaluation rather than generalized worst case scenarios of internet blurbs and second hand conglomerated talking point.

 

Not surprised you "type" women and I feel sorry for the women you know if all they want is a little pat on the head from a man to make them happy.......what boring lives they must have to not want anything but male approval...

The women I know and have known would need a lobotomy to be satisfied with only that....most would want at least their own income to live on...

 

I think we are addressing two different aspects of happiness....I am focused on what a woman needs from HER man to be happy.

Not all women need that (To be told they are beautiful with sincerity, to be cherished by someone they love, to be appreciated and taken care of.).. and most women don't want or need to be taken care of any more than any man does.......

 

Again...the two different aspects. I refer to what a woman needs in her mind to be happy vs. what she needs in her financial or physical worldly needs. What makes her smile inside and gives her the deeper happy.
