Apparently the Turkish army launched an operation in ISIS controlled Syrian Jerabulus. Reports say that the operation just started one hour ago, as I created this thread. More will be come, links will be provided.

I find this interesting since Russia said it wouldn't allow an invasion of Syria.

Turkey Strikes ISIS in Syria as Tensions Rise over Border Town
Aug 23, 2016 — Turkish artillery shelled Islamic State targets across the border in Syria for the second consecutive day on Tuesday, a senior Turkish official said, amid reports that Turkey-backed Syrian rebels are preparing an offensive against an IS-held border town.

Don't worry, we share almost same policy with Russia hereafter since USA backstabbed us by feeding PYD/PKK terrorist groups and Islamic Cleric Fethullah Gulen.

Putin had already known our operation while US soldiers in Incirlik base didn't know.

I am curious about what Joe Biden will do today in Ankara. Will he talk us about PYD toys ?

Do you think Fethullah Gulen was responsible for the attempted coup? I read that he was old and very sick... incapacitated.

    Will Incirlik remain?

Fethullah Gulen is a tentacle of octopus, as well as PYD and PKK are. But we all know who the "octopus" is :)

Yes, Incirlik will be opened Russia possibly.

Ummm. . . You really understood who the octopus is. Why should I speech it? You Americans are always same.
You understand very well but you always seem to not understand. I got used to.

ISIS is the result of octopus' Iraq invasion and the snake allowed to be grown in the region. Their so-called caliph was escaped from the prison where was under control of octopus.

Octopus backstabbed us. They firstly allowed ISIS to get lands of Northern Syria and now they have been preparing the Kurds to create state there. ISIS is the pretext for planned Kurdistan.

What kind of ally you are ? Maşallah.

Kick the US out of there. Our military never had any business being in Syria, especially since we're uninvited AND supporting anti-government forces. It's just wrong.

As I understand it Turkey is fighting both Kurds and ISIS.... and they shelled 70 targets in northern Syria within the past day or so. I don't blame the Turks..

I am not a proponent of the Kurds having a country of their own.

    What is Masallah?

To run military operations, directly or indirectly, in Syria is a fashion today ... and it's gaining kudos. Who hasn't attacked something in Syria yet?

Chinese, Indians and aliens [well, there have been reports about UFO sights in Syria, so may be aliens have already done something!].

A bit of humor a part, it was obvious that Turkey had to defend directly its Southern borderline from any eventual "problem" coming from Syria [and in particular from Kurd armed factions]. The main actors on the scene will defend their interests.

Russia is simply planning with Turkey a coordinated cooperation with separated zones of competence. Moscow is interested in the coastal region [where there are the Russian bases] and in Damascus [where there is a government who is friend of the Russians]. The rest of the country can be the theater of the operations run by Turkey without that Russians will be "annoyed" in any way.

Sweden is good and stable country since you have no border with Syria,Iraq or Iran. Sweedish national parliament has discussed how many times the couples should have sex these days. Because you have no worries about terror and danger.
Therefore please don't talk through your hat, Mr. Swedish.:smoking:

speaking as a european of course.. Turkey has so much potential.. could be a good and valuable partner for the west. Why are you being so difficult? once turkey aspired to become europeans.. what happened to that? :/ I suppose it has some to do with europe becomming too.. socially liberal.. I must agree with that actually. I can understand if Turkey gets annoyed when self-righteous feminists from europe lecture them. ah, europe and our incurable arrogance.

OMG! you are saying just 10.000 shamelessly!!! 10.000 is not even 1% of refuges in Turkey.

Bro, we have tried good alliance with west but we have been backstabbed.

Your European Union was always a Christian Union you never wantto accept us willfully because of our religion.

Turkey is one of the first country in World gave women the right to vote and stand for election even very before Italy and France. Don't give me a lesson for femism. Liberalism was borned in Ottoman Empire.

We are neither European nor Middle Eastern we are just Turks. Our ancestors (Huns) were living in Central-East Asia centuries ago. :) Only Hungarians are our cousins in Europe.
