Most of the other European States didn't expect the new regime to last long. The Western vultures were contemplating when to pounce. Therefore, Hitler felt Germany should make sure it would also get something of the big cake, meaning new "Lebensraum". But by 1933 the situation in Russia had changed drastically. Stalin held a tight grip on the country and there was no new Lebensraum to be had. After Hitler had become the new leader of Germany he had lots to do to improve the country. He himself said, there was enough work to do for the next three generations, including developing new trade connections with other countries. Yes, in 1939 Russia was seen as a partner, but then Stalin's politics changed and Hitler felt Stalin and England were working together. As we know, Stalin had his own secret plans. In your opinion, what should Hitler have done, when he found out Stalin was ready to pounce on him and Germany?
" negotiations!!!"......So what? What is the worst in it for the UK France and America? Explain this please. .
We have to see who " felt" more ,,,,,, and who was the first “ be ready to pounce on”. 1)Stalin “felt “ Hitler and England were working together in Munich 1938. When Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia with the help of Britain. 2)Stalin “felt “ Hitler and England were working together in Poland 1939. When the British deceived Poland. When British did everything that was in British ‘s power ,,,, that Poland died before then the Polish hope for British help will die. 3) Stalin “felt “ when he had read the Mein Kampf and the Hitler's plans. /
But by 1940 the situation in Germany had changed drastically. Hitler held a tight grip on the Europe . Germany, Italy, France, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Finland, Romania, Belgium,...... Japan (Russia was forced to keep the Far East many troops). What Stalin “felt “ when these colossal force had stood on the border of Russia?>>>with taking into account the first three points. December 18, 1940 Hitler signed Directive №21, the plan received a symbolic name "Barbarossa". In your opinion, what Stalin should have to done in this situation? ps It was not "a something of the big cake". It was the"Lebensraum" für die Deutschen. It was a strategic goal of Hitler. It was his dream. It was the goal of his life. . .
You forgot to mention that Stalin and Hitler became partners! As could be seen later, England, Canada and the Americans all helped Russia against Germany. The merchant marines had a convoy going between Norway and the North Pole to Russia with all sorts of material help for Russia. Was Mein Kampf actually already translated into Russian at that time? AND... was Stalin able to read and write?? Remember, he was a common bank robber!!
How could he have a tight grip on Europe from 1938 to 1939? Be realistic, RUS. Germany was just coming up from the absolute bottom of despair and poverty and barely managed to lift its head over the edge of the rim of the abyss. Sure, they were overjoyed when Hitler arrived on the scene and helped them to get back on their feet and give them some dignity back. But Germany was by no means a powerhouse in 1939 to take on half the world! Sure, I can see your or Stalin's point. The bottom line is England, France, Poland, the Czechs, Russia, Canada, the USA were all united in eradicating Germany, the country they already hated from WWI. Yes, Hitler had dreams for Germany, no doubt. But that was while he was sitting in jail and had nothing else to do. Later, when he actually became Chancellor of Germany and had to deal with reality, he did some rethinking and limited his ambitions to trying through peaceful means to bring back the former German territories into the Reich. He even abstained from demanding that Poland give back German land... he knew it would cause a major uproar. So he asked for only a narrow corridor through the former German land to reach the city of Danzig and the Province of East Prussia. War could have been avoided by granting him this small request. You forget that Stalin was getting ready to attack Germany. Barbarossa was Hitlers reaction to that. The bad part is, Stalin and Hitler didn't trust each other enough. They should have talked and bring their concerns to the table and hash it out verbally, whatever it was. Russia and Germany used to be friends before it became a communist state. Believe me, Hitler would not have started attacking Russia, IF he didn't have to. He wanted to avoid a two-front war. Unfortunately, the allies had him in a trap, he couldn't get out of, unless he declared defeat. So, he gambled with what he had and the German soldiers fought to their last drop of blood.
Read here #132... http://www.politicalforum.com/histo...hy-germany-invaded-poland-mod-warning-14.html UK, France and the USA are allies to this day! They stick together when it goes against Germany. They all fear the German spirit... they want to erase it once and for all. What is in it for them? They will hold the world power and not Germany! Today Germany is nothing more but a willing vassal of the Western powers. It can not make important decisions without first consulting Washington. This will remain so until 2099. IF there is still a Germany left by then, this restriction will probably be renewed. You can see, dear RUS, that the Germans are feared like heck!!
....Stalin and Hitler became partners!.......?...hmm.... Aaaaa ..... I understood you. This is a joke !!!....Oh yeah. Of course yes....Stalin and Hitler became .... became .....pa.....pa.....partne...e....e....eeers!. It was much later. To this I can answer, but here: http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=467114&p=1066641059#post1066641059 .
1) I said in 1940. 2) here you do not argue with me, but with facts. In 1940, Germany controlled most of Europe. It is the historical fact. . German troops are entering Paris. Who could still resist the dictates of Hitler?
Industry, resources - is very important. Every third German shell was made in France.. the Czech tanks smashed Poland in 1939 ... in 1941 Russia...........Etc. . .
A little earlier, in 1938 in Munich, Hitler also requested only the Sudetenland. Only the Sudetenland, and nothing more than the Sudetenland..... Words .....Worte....parle....poetry....sentimental talk.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ifJapuqYiU . It's good but it's not for our harsh topics!!! ... Banks do not give credit to the client, with the credit history as the credit history of Hitler in 1939. No one will. .
I never thought of it that way. You are right... at that time there was no Eastern front. Yeah... for a brief moment in history Germany was winning! Here is an interesting link about what else all happened in 1940... http://www.thepeoplehistory.com/1940.html Leon Trotsky, the Russian revolutionary is assassinated in Mexico. But Chamberlain agreed to taking back Slowakia and the Czech President agreed to let Germay take back Prague and the rest. I believe, I have already posted the details. O.k., a little musical break is always good... https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...E5E81EA4B0600256CC37E5E81EA4B060025&FORM=VIRE
I usually always right. Yes. This is the first color film in the USSR. The tyrant Stalin is tyrannized Russia even for 10 years. Flare will guess that it's prisoners from the Gulag. They have been fed, washed, dressed ... There where guns and guards with dogs in The edges of the square. (to the prisoners do not run away )
