Sarah Silverman has called for a military coup against President Donald Trump.

The comedian posted in all-capital letters Wednesday night to her nearly 10 million followers to "wake up & join the resistance."

She added, "Once the military is w us fascists get overthrown. Mad king & his handlers go bye bye."

 

It's not like she has any gigs to go to.

 

Given what was taking place while she said it, yes.

Poor things, they're having a really hard time accepting that they don't have any say. the elections over, and all their foot stamping tantrums aren't going to change a thing. The only "fascists" I see, are the intolerant Liberals who think if they keep acting up that something is going to be changed for them.

I'd say that's legitimate free speech. Although she's a freaking moron if she honestly thinks the military would back such a coup. At least America's enemies are coming out in the open as the liberal meltdown continues...

The Bolshevik revolution was sparked by radical left-wing Jews like Sarah Silverman. We need to be vigilant here in the West.

I'm not so sure it's legitimate free speech, she's calling for a military coup against a sitting US President. That can be interpreted as a threat. At the very least she should get a knock on her door and an interview.

 

Silverman is just another example of the left not knowing where that line between comedy and poor taste devolve into litigious speech. In this case, ms Silverman seems to be calling for the violent overthrow of the elected president. Now, that isn't the same as calling for the destruction of the government, but it is still, likely seditious. Perhaps ms Silverman should consult her attorney before issuing calls for overthrowing a President.

I'd say this almost exactly what the Founders' intended when it came to free speech. The ability to speak against the government, even to call for violence. Its actually brilliant, let the most vocal and stupid of the government's enemies come forward and identify themselves. Remember, they didn't win a revolution against the most powerful country in the world at the time with protests and speeches...

 

Trump lost at the ballot box by almost 3,000,000 votes.

No doubt president Clinton will be out shortly to remind us of that...

 

She lost the popular vote by over a million and a half votes if you don't count California, a state littered with illegal alien children and welfare recipients.

 

The popular vote is utterly irrelevant anyway, its only sappy liberals who don't seem to understand the Constitution and why it was written that way...
