Sarah Silverman calls for military to overthrow President Trump

wasn't she a comedian some time back ? Whatever she is now, she is nuttier than a fruit cake is she thinks rank and file enlisted do not like Trump

You know the popular vote doesn't matter, and yet you post this?

 

Sarah Silverman's act has been "old cow" for years.

 

Maybe we should take away the 55 electoral votes that those 3 million extra votes got them, too. See how much they cry then.

 

Moonbeam is trying to do that now.

 

Hillary beat Trump by 4 million votes in CA
That she 'won" the popular vote by 3 million votes means all the other states (and DC) were a net loss for her.

 

One must be careful one's words are not seen as a call to action.

Yelling fire in a crowded theater is an example of such a call.

Silverman's words may not be taken as seriously, but what if conservative comedians Mark Dice or Stephen Crowder made the same remarks about Obama in the same context? I believe they would have been arrested while Obama was in office.

You must think like a bigot to make sense of it all. One standard for liberal snowflakes, a different standard for others.

 

I understand but have no proof that if she had as many sticking out as she let stick in, she would look like a porcupine.

 

Now some nut in the Pentagon is up to the same thing.

Considering her role was a voice acting gig in Wreck-it Ralph, and I've seen the makings of how how voice actors do their thing, I'd find it pretty boring I'm sure. I like movies. I watch something that will entertain me regardless of who is acting in it.

 

First TV movie series I saw in person being filmed for a then favorite TV show really almost ruined it for me. Combat was filmed at various Russian River sites and even the actors goofed off, they were so bored.

In a tweet Thursday, posted during the riots that broke out at UC Berkley, the comedian called on people to “join the resistance” and urged the military to help overthrow the “fascists.”

After receiving some criticism for the tweet, the comedian followed up with some more tweets on Friday in an attempt to clarify. Silverman claimed that her own fear motivated the tweet and said she’s now trying to keep it in check.

I wasn't 'fear' at all. It was the desire to be more outrageous, to get more attention, to be more 'cutting edge' than other celebrities singing the same tired tune. But instead of being 'outrageous' or 'cutting edge' they have only become more tedious.

Would someone like Silverman really have a following? If so it doesn't say much for contemporary culture.

Celebrities are not known for their wisdom or nous - far from it - rather for being desperate to attract as much attention as possible from their brain-dead adoring fan-base. It's a sign of the times - stupid people being obsessed with other stupid people.
