So the answer is no. He did not break any laws and that's that. Thanks for playing.

Umm, that is why I said all candidates since Nixon have released their tax returns. Where did I say the IRS could release people's tax returns? What are you on me about this for??? In the example I gave about Nixon's tax returns an IRS employee illegally released Nixon's taxes, he was found out and quit before being fired. I NEVER said the IRS could release tax returns.

Yes. Trump's tax returns to crazy lefties are like Obama's birth certificate was to crazy right wingers.

But then, jail would be a good reward to the "patriotic" IRS employee who breaks the law and releases the tax returns.

He should post some fake Photoshop version of them like the birth certificate with many layers to it. That way he could claim to have released them without actually doing so. :roflol:

Why not? He locked them away so that nobody can look at them and one wonders why..

Then stop with the faux outrage over his damn tax returns. He, like anybody else, paid the minimum required by law. Period.

Yes, along with his application to college to see if he was an affirmative action admit.

I would also like to see his Columbia records to see if he really got admission as a foreign student claiming Indonesia as his country of origin.

You know, as long as we want all the records on display.

Russ, you have no idea what Trump paid...or didn't pay. Have you seen his tax returns? If not, you are just making stuff up. BTW, I'm not outraged, as you put it, I'm just curious as to why the moronic buffoon won't release his tax returns as every other candidate has done for the past 40 years. Is it likely there is information he doesn't want us to see? I think the president should be at least held to the same standards as his cabinet picks - who have to make full disclosure of their business and financial dealings otherwise they don't go through. What do you think?

What I do know is that he hasn't violated any tax laws and that's all there is to it. You know as well as I do that the IRS would have brought the hammer down with full force on him since he did commit the ultimate sin of running as a republican candidate.

And in case you haven't noticed, Trump isn't like any other candidate in the past, and that's what his supporters like about him. What his opponents scream and whine about doesn't concern us (other then to laugh at you) in the least.

I have legitimate issues with Trump and have no problem with voicing my opinion on them. The non stop 24/7 faux outrage from the left, magnified by the democrats posing as reporters is a joke that I will continue to mock you over without mercy.

Honestly Russ, this is my last note on this. We're never going to agree...that's okay. Just a couple of things, you're making stuff up again, how do you know Trump hasn't broken any laws? He is currently undergoing an audit, did the IRS let you know the audit is complete and everything looks good?

I know Trump has a committed base of supporters, probably about 38% or so. The additional 8% who supported him in the election and put him in office are undoubtedly experiencing a bout of "buyers remorse" especially after Trump's epically insane performance yesterday. The minority, his base, loved it while the majority were rightfully horrified, LOL.

I know you'll respond with some other nonsense, it's typical of ardent Trump fans but feel free to go "full Trump", I'm done with this, LOL.

I realize you think this is normal behavior, the weaponizing of the IRS against your political enemies, as this is what Obama did in the 2012 presidential election.

The last president to do this prior to Obama, of course, was Nixon.

But normal Americans don't agree with this type of political corruptness that we often see from liberals/progressives/socialists, so with the Democratic Partry completed out of power at this point, this probably won't happen.

Geez, you leftists really need another fantasy TV show like the West Wing to take your mind off becoming a fringe, regional party...

    how are they relevant?

he did no such thing. his college records are "locked away" in the exact same manner as every single other person who has ever attended college.

No other president has ever released their college records, so why would you suddenly want to see obamas?

Under what legal authority would anyone at the IRS be able to release Trumps tax return?

Post your tax return on the forum to prove you aren't a Russian agent incessantly trying to undermine the US government.

Under no authority. It's a felony. The whole thing is dumb. No doubt most of his business dealings were done under non-disclosure, so the returns would have to be redacted to a point that they would be unrecognizable. We never got to see Obama's application to Columbia as a foreign exchange student. That might have been interesting. Tax returns are boring.

Perhaps Ronstar would think differently if someone at the IRS released his tax returns? What an embarrassment that would be and strictly a violation of the law. Surely Ronstar would be on line to protest such illegal action of the thugs at the IRS.

We know that Trump hasn't paid taxes for several years because of that business writeoff.

Trump will figure out a way to stonewall it.

Well, trump won't release his tax returns "as he promised"(that should tell everyone how his promises aren't worth diddly squat)after what he said yesterday at the press conference, trump said " I don't owe any money to Russia"-----Well, we know that is not true, unless trump's son is lying---So,someone owes the American people the truth----

If there is no law that will FORCE him to do it, Trump will just stonewall it.

Trump cares little about ethics or appearances of impropriety.

But, there is---I heard Congressman Elijah Cumming's talking about this the other day--Congress could supeona his taxes for a Congressional hearing---
In my opinion, this is where Congressional hearings should start, trump could alleviate a lot of suspicions by releasing his taxes, but unfortunately for trump, what his taxes will reveal is exactly what the majority thinks--It doesn't take a genius to figure out trump hasn't paid taxes in many years, but what I want to know is how beholden trump is to other countries & how trump benefits financially as POTUS ----as it has an effect as to how he governs--which then goes to whether it is illegal or an impeachable offense---
