I've just had this exact same conversation with someone else in this thread.

Here's what it looks like to me

The operation took months to plan under Obama, indicating that it was meticulously planned.

Then you have to ask the question, why did Obama not execute this operation if it was ready to go? Why was this operation left for one week after Trump became president?

I believe the answer is that it wasn't timed for one week after Trump became president, the timing was brought forward because Trump wanted it so, it's all image and ego for Trump.

 

Trump didn't decide other to say OK when the military wanted to go. This was a military operation. Word is the military wanted to wait for the right conditions and why they waited. Word also is that they flew the observation drones lower and they were noticed.

 

Never Trumps fault. Never.

 

You mean Obama since this was planned under his watch.

 

Military missions of this nature have security classifications not meant for public consumption.

The military leaders are soon presenting a plan to POTUS to defeat ISIS.

POTUS made a campaign promise to make them WASWAS.

 

Some people hear assume the President plans military operations and military operations are always easy and never dangerous. If you ask me, they ain't too bright.

 

I'm betting that this was supposed to be the first feather in Trump's "Commander in Chief" hat. One that would have, inevitably, been rammed down the throats of those petulant Democrats.

Since it didn't go off that way why not do the obvious and blame it on Obama?

I question that "word" because why would the father of the Navy Seal who died insist on an investigation? An investigation is the only way to know exactly what was planned, what was changed and how it influenced the operation as a whole.

 

I have known parents who have lost their sons in battle. I almost lost mine. I don't know how to put into words what that really means to a parent. It is just crushing.

Grieving is a process, and it is normal to go through different phases of it, and anger is usually a part of it.

They deserve to have all the details of their son's death and to understand the decision-making process that was used to OK the mission.

It stinks to you because Trump is involved. Kahn was a tool used by the DNC. Owns is going through the emotions. The Seal didn't die to trump.

Colin Kahl is saying Trump is lying about the planning of this operation, it appears there's now an even greater chance that this Navy Seal did indeed die because of Trump.

Yet it was an Obama approved mission that at best,
Trump signed off on as it was his first days as President.
Imagine if Trump had refused to sign off and decided on a proper review of Obama's signing off on a military mission.
