Fox even mentioned his use of a teleprompter. Try again.

I hope Trump keeps his promise to take better care of our vets, every President says this, but never seems to happen sadly

    .

    - - - Updated - - -

after his attacks on Obama for using a teleprompter, he now realizes it's a must for a President to use one

The fear and the realization dawning from progressives is plain to see, both on the faces of those present, and in the writing of those on the internet.

So tell me. What dates and times did he say the wall would be started and what month would his new health care plan go into effect? Maybe I missed that or was his speech AGAIN just full of promises?

The speech wasnt bad. It was just the ******ned clapping.

I applaud (irony) trump on a few things. Namely wanting ma/paternity leave paid, as well as even looking at child care costs.

I applaud his stance on nafta and the un. I applaud the immigration reform (i dont think it should be so easy to get in here.)

I disagree with his stance on education, and on marijuana. And on military spending. And on the stance he has on law enforcement.

But hopefully we see some movement here.

Well Reagan was one of the best Presidential speakers in history and hate to burst your bubble but Trump did great job one of the best first congressional speech by a President in recent memory. If the Democrats refuse to get on board with what he was talking about tonight they do so at their own risk.

Typical, when they run out of logic, which usually is around 2-3 minutes the insults start! Best defense at that point it is "I know you are but what am I", makes them cry evertime ;)

No one who listened to President Trump's speech could possibly find anything to argue about it unless they truly despise America. I think those folks will be exposed. It appeared he was even converting some of those sour faced Dems.

he said a lot of good things I agree with

I wish he would of talked more about states rights with marijuana laws as he has flip flopped on that one it seems, he used to say it was a states rights issue

The only Democrats they could get to respond to Trumps speech was Former Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear. :roflol:

They must really be worried about 2018. Why didn't Elizabeth Warren, Chuckles Schumer or Nancy Peluka give the response?

I may be mistaken but he never referred to cannabis, drugs yes but I specifically instructed him from the armchair to NOT say a word about weed, pretty sure he heard me!

Seeing your previous posts and attitude, I commend you for posting this. I haven't seen Trump express an opinion on MJ himself, but my opinion (and vote) is that it should be left up to States.

And folks in the rural areas must be feeling left out because he sure as hell did not address their issues and these are the ones who voted for him. They got what they voted for.
