    He didn't call out any crimes in 2007. He threatened their lives. Period. End of story. No different than what this woman did, only he didn't use bloody effigies.

    Obamacare, Russia, and unnamed sources are all deflections from the topic. Please, if you're interested in debating the subject, stay on the subject. This is about Kathy Griffin and her bloody Trump head, and I'm posting about when a right wing celebrity did something equally as bad to Obama (which someone earlier posted never happened),.

    Maybe my cynicism is showing.

    It's purely speculation, but my guess is that she will be hailed as a courageous hero among some. She likely has added to her fame and earning power. I hope I'm wrong.

    I don't care if it is a celebrity or not. I don't care if there are 'millions' of followers or if the only people who see it, drive by someone's front yard. I condemn the image, the 'art' and the act of creating and posting it or alternately I do not condemn the 'art' the act of creating it, and posting it.

    In both these cases, I think they are outrageous, offensive and indecent.

    I had to Google her. She's a comedian. She isn't a spokeswoman for anyone. She's an entertainer, just like Ted Nugent is. She did something very inappropriate, just like Ted Nugent did. You want to be a hypocrite? Okay. Just save me the trouble of thinking you're a serious poster. You aren't. You're in here either being a hypocrite, or you're trolling me. Nobody in their right mind would defend Nugent while bashing her.

    Seriously though, couldn't this picture be considered "hate speech?" I support Kathy Griffin's right to make a fool of herself, but isn't this a clear and obvious example of "hate speech," the very thing that Democrats pretend to crusade against?

    I think it does matter. I think it is wrong no matter who does it... but as far as reflecting the sentiment of a culture, cultural figures matter. Beating your wife is wrong, without a safe word, but when a cultural figure does it it carries more weight.

    I actually think Griffin is hilarious... but this is beyond the pale for anyone.

    Huh? When did I say anything about millions of followers? You're so confused.

    And who said anything about the "left wing" and what do they have to do with me or my posts?

    My posts are clear. Ted Nugent did it to Obama. This Kathy Griffin did it to Trump. It's what these celebrities do because it keeps them relevant, gets their names in the news, and because they can. I wouldn't condemn one without condemning the other. But that's because I'm not a partisan hypocrite.
