As predicted------------the Comey hearing is a total bust for democrats

No surprise to me as I suspected it would be he said vs he said situation. In the absence of a smoking gun there was not much substance in the hearing.

 

So are the Chinese. This is all problematic to be sure, but lets not pretend like this hasn't been an issue for many years. We can all get behind the notion that there is a need for increased cyber security. We don't have to concoct a conspiracy theory that this involves corroboration with the current President of the United States, prior to there being a shred of actual direct evidence of such.

 

Comey did have a boss. At the DOJ All he had to do was talk it over with him.

 

The difference is that Comey is a patriot and honorable, as expressed by both dems and repubs in today's hearing. Trump's
history has shown him to be unstable, a liar, and a con man.

 

He did not mention the Chinese. He was talking about the Russians.

 

I mentioned the Chinese. I assumed that would have been obvious. Cyber threats exist all over the world. Russia is but one of those threats.

 

He was specifically talking about the Russians. And yes, it is probably true about the chinese.

 

The Comey hearing has become the Democrats Hindenburg. All their hopes to "get" Trump went up in flames.

 

My question to Comey is, "during the four years you were head of the FBI, how is it you only met with obama twice?"

The Russians may be dumb, but they aren't stupid. They certainly would have moved to cover their tracks in any hacking scheme.

So is the US. What of it? The US not only spies on its own citizens, it also spies on its Allies.

Comey said his job wasn't threatened. He said Trump had praised him just days before!
With all the anti-Trump deep state people why wouldn't Trump ask if Comey was loyal to him? And Trump accepted Comey's answer.
Talking to subordinates privately is done all the time. It doesn't indicate any potential wrong doing at any time.

What *I* took from the testimony was that Comey is paranoid, why else would he worry about the President talking to him directly?

You're right, trump may have been trying to cover up two crimes, lying under oath to the senate and discussing US foreign policy with a foreign representative without the consent of the sitting president.
