Sessions abruptly cancels public testimony

All of these closed hearing are starting to become tedious. Can nobody just tell the ****ing truth and be forthcoming? Cleanse your damned souls you gutless spineless jellyfish.

 

Trump said he'd testify. They should book Comey and Trump for the same hearing. Swear them in. Put that **** up on PPV and use it to pay off part of the debt. Everybody wins, right?

Open hearings are political theater that do not produce much or like the Comey hearing, allow congress critters to get on their soapboxes and still produce nothing.

 

Trump would have his greedy little hand out for his share of the profits.

 

Or at least just take the fifth, like normal mobsters.

Why do I have the distinct impression that Sessions is having sleepless nights and wishing that he had never agreed to become involved with the BLOTUS?

If you watched the Comey hearing, Sen. Collins asked Comey directly if Trump "had ever asked about" the investigation into Russian election interference. NO. Clearly Trump isn't at all concerned about anything Comey was investigating. The OP authored another thread, insinuating Trumps hands off approach indicated apathy, but what it establishes is that no degree of investigational "meddling" ever took place. If you listen closesly to committee members questions you can appreciate their sublime undertones. Comey crucified himself.

 

Sorry you won't be getting your dopamine hit Tuesday. He shouldn't be testifying at all about an on-going investigation of this nature.

MSM is pulling out all the stops. Trying to insinuate there's something nefarious about Sessions sending his #2 to a meeting on appropriations? Of course those same MSM outlets are simultaneously reporting on the Intel committee hearing Sessions will attend, to address exactly those issues they're accusing him of avoiding. Sessions in fact, submitted a written REQUEST to testify. He is going to label Comey both a liar, and criminal. You can quote me.

Tedious? After only a years worth of wild accusations? Fret not. The criminal prosecutions will be very public. I anticipate huge leftist protests on the steps of the federal courthouse. Sessions is going to contradict Comeys sworn testimony. Comeys trial for perjury will be "must see TV". Let's all enjoy the show.
