Could a Utah State Dollar save the USA Dollar?

    Mr. Mitt Romney could bring something to the role of Secretary of State that nobody else can........
    an entire State capable of minting a State coin.... and....
    capable of encouraging local, town and city governments in the State of Utah to
    print up local currencies.......

    that in theory could act like props in many film projects.....
    meant to increase justice..... liberty...... freedom..... and Shalom....
    to all the residents of Utah..... and from there to other States... then on to other nations......

    TEN USA STATES are already discussing minting State coins and encouraging local governments to print up local currencies similar to what Ithaca, New York has done......

    so why not Utah?

    In theory....... if widely accepted...... local and State currencies... could easily pay off the national debt of the USA... if certain events occur.......
    for starters..... a reevaluation of the value of human life in light of
    new evidence that EVOLUTION.... probably DID NOT begin in four dimensional space time..... the earth.... but more likely began in fundamental or nearly fundamental energy........

    The very fact that President Elect Donald Trump called for the auditing of the Federal Reserve......
    implies that he will not take lightly the threats to the value of the USA dollar that is
    almost certainly being planned by some leaders in enemy nations.

    Mitt Romney......... can bring an entire State into a level of support for President Trump .... and for all of America.......that almost no other state could quite rival. Latter Day Saints did an astonishing amount of volunteerism to assist the people of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.

    Utah is capable of something far, far, far , far beyond all that..... although it was considerable!

    I have to admit.... that I probably have a rather low understanding of what exactly you mean by this.....?

    Do you mean that we should use a local currency as much as possible?

    Ten USA States are discussing minting State coins and encouraging
    local communities to print up local currencies.

    Do you consider this a good trend?

    I find them the to be akin to Scientologists, Jehovah’s Witnesses or any other cultist style organization including the 1990's Amway scammers!

    I got myself excommunicated from the Worldwide Church of God
    and then the Philadelphia Church of God back in 1991
    because I could no longer go along with their "soul sleep" doctrine.....

    I think that it is normal for all large organizations where a significant amount of
    money is coming in.... .and going out...... to tend to behave at least a little bit
    overly adversarial toward whoever they regard as the competition.

    Maybe the best, church on earth.... the one that follows The Sermon on the Mount better
    than any other church........ . has at least some members who get a little bit overly competitive (cultish) some of the time.

    I mean that inflation only applies over time. Therefore, holding dollars for a negligible amount of time nets a negligible amount of inflation.

    So instead of holding dollars, hold assets or investments. If you need money for transactions, cash in some of your more liquid assets (gold is good for this, shares too if you have low brokerage fees) and buy dollars for immediate use.

    This way you get the best of both worlds: the convenience of the dollar but without the creeping inflation.

    whatever church my wife really, really, really wants to attend,.......
    that will be where I will go.

    She does certainly have good taste in pastors though.....
    so it has been easy for me to arrive at this place.

    My theory on this is that the world will soon unite around the idea that we must invest in large scale
    desalination of ocean water to turn deserts green........ lower ocean levels..... and produce food in deserts.

    The second beast could be when the world unites around the idea that technology such as Terminator Seeds
    are astonishingly unwise......... and we must get back to basics in gardening and farming.

    This video is very accurate and gives us a good idea of how Federal Reserve and Bank of Canada policies are to a degree...... smoke and mirrors.... .meant to keep the ignorant masses running like Gerbils on a treadmill.

    I personally take very seriously the prediction that President Donald J. Trump has a Cyrus calling on his life..... and ..... .Mr. Mitt Romney has a Darius calling on his life. They need to work together........ But President Trump's supporters could not back up President TRump in his desire to make Mr. Romney Secretary of State........... back in February...... but six months have gone by.... and they may have changed their minds by now.


    Technically.... I am a Hebraic Roots Universalist Christian Mystic, not a Latter Day Saint.... but we can agree that reducing the incidence of abortions is a good idea.

    Your OP doesn't have a good understanding of macroeconomics and currency valuations.

    The last land valuations increase occurred because the dollar fell in value due to the overall lack of belief in the future of the USA, circa 2007 through 2013. This caused ALL internationally traded commodities to rise in nominal price with the value of the dollar falling. It took more dollars to buy gasoline for example.

    Since 2014, international trade and business has higher expectations of the future of the USA, the senate was taken over by the republicans and Trump took office. Therefore the dollar has been rising in value relative to other currencies. That's why the price gasoline has been low as well. It now takes less dollars to buy the same internationally traded goods.

    That applies to land values, not so much real estate because real estate has many other factors of price valuation.

    This may sound kind of funny but I believe over the coming decades land prices in rural areas will especially experience increased valuation....... because it is so much easier to live beside Trump supporters...... .than it is to live near Hillary supporters!

    Food should always be free, and am involved in multiple local gardening efforts in my home and community.

    My grandfather was born in 1911, so I learned to cook with meat being more about flavor than substance, such as the ham bone in our split pea soup. Long before I was of age to legally purchase alcohol, I grew all my own food in my apartment in Los Angeles, and the only thing I bought from a grocery store was yeast, flour, and meat, with a total grocery bill of about $25.

    If you're worried about the value of the dollar, just plant a garden, because you can't eat money.
