Also just a few years ago, Obama was more "flexible after the election" for the Russians. Back then, they were perfectly fine with colluding with Russia. Then Crimea happened and all of the sudden they want a war.

It's probably easier just to say they are LOSERS since 2010 when you count the elections and the off-year elections just this year. The only election they've won since 2010 was the general election in 2012.

The troops in the trenches are the last ones to accept the fact of a loss.

“THE FACTS -- KAREN HANDEL quite easily beat JON OSSOFF in Georgia. House Republicans are now 4-0 in contested special elections since PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP won the presidency. That means Democrats have failed -- despite millions of dollars in spending -- to win a single race with a president who has a record low approval rating. Democrats are even further from the majority than they thought. Let’s be clear: something ain’t working for Democrats, party insiders privately tell us. The Ossoff race galvanized national donors and activists in a way that led many to believe House Democrats were en route to wresting control of the chamber from Republicans. That’s not how they feel this morning.” POLITICO, GOP VICTORY LAP after Handel win -- HOUSE GOP now 4-0 in contested specials since Trump won, By Anna Palmer, 6/21/17.

The DP needs to give voters a very very good reason to stop voting to strip them of their political power.

You should hope they continue to make fools of themselves and don't realize they need a different direction!

If we've learned anything about the left wing and the DNC, it's that they don't learn anything.

I just watched Jeh Johnson on CNN say there's no evidence of registration, votes or voting machines being tampered with by Russians, changing election results. But CNN isn't buying it.

Actually, the Democrats are 1-5 in special elections. They are 0-4 in special elections to replace an emptied Republican seat in dark red districts though.

Special elections aren't a good barometer or indication of what is to come, especially when held this far out of the midterms. History shows us that about half of all special election are won by the party in power, half aren't. The four wins probably have more to do with where they were located than anything to do with Trump or tell us what will happen some 17 months from now. I wouldn't read anything more into these election than the Republicans retained the four seats which is what should have happened.

What was interesting about the race here in Georgia was the Democrats were busy tying Handel to Trump while the Republicans tied Ossoff to Pelosi. Handel won, so one could assume that Trump is better liked and approved of than Pelosi.

Obviously, the people haven't learned that emotion brings disastrous consequences, aside from the fact in the last decade we've seen failures on behalf of conservatives, most notably the Iraq War. If Paul Ryan, the GOP and Trump haven't given you a reason not to vote Republican on the healthcare bill alone, what will? Unfortunately, it will take some sort of catastrophie to snap some Pro Trumpers out of it, whether its another financial crisis with banks ruining lives and major corporations filing for bankruptcy, or a draft because Trump angered North Korea or China or both into a nuclear war, European allies too alienated to come to our aid.

Trusting a Republican to improve your life, is like trusting a highly intoxicated driver to pass the drivers test. It simply doesn't work. Didn't work in the past, won't work now. I'm always surprised how people can say Trump cared about them, when anyone with open eyes can see this is nothing but a egoistical power trip. You have to be severely autistic not to see this. When we get a level-headed person in the WH, first thing to go is those awful yellow curtains that look like they date back to the 19th century.

I think you might be purposely ignoring the fact that Dems have lost approximately over 1000 seats across the country at local, state, and federal levels since 2010. You have to go back to pre-1929 to find where they had that low of power and elected seats.

So tell us---------------------what have democrats done for blacks in general. Like other poor people, they are still poor after more than an TRILLION DOLLARS has been spent on welfare.

BTW I think Obama put those stupid yellow curtains in there. Made a closet muslim feel at home.

Those yellow curtains weren't there until Trump went in there.

If I remember correctly, until Obama, there weren't body cameras on cops. Btw, where's the proof he's a Muslim?

Agreed-but what happens when the establishment is firmly entrenched and does not want to give up power?

Sanders, Warren, Clinton, Waters, Pelosi-they arent going to give it up and the ones who are elected are in gerrymandered, or heavily democrat districts.

That's been pretty much the norm. I'm not talking the numbers you are, but it is normal for the party that holds the white house to lose seats in congress and then across the country. Here Congressional loses for sitting presidents.

LBJ lost 9 senate and 52 house seats

Nixon/Ford lost 5 senate and 48 house seats

Carter lost 3 senate and 15 house seats

Reagan lost 8 senate and 15 house seats

Bush I lost 1 senate seat and 8 house seats

Clinton lost 12 senate seats and 47 house seats

Bush II lost 1 senate seat and 23 house seats

Obama lost 11 senate seats and 62 house seats

Trump who knows, he is starting out with 52 GOP senators and 241 Republican house members.

Governors, When Bill Clinton took office the Democrats had 30 governors, 18 when he left office. When Bush took office the GOP had 30 governors, 22 when he left office. Obama started off with 28 Democratic governors, the Dems are now down to 18. Trump starts off with 31 and we'll see. LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush I all lost governorships.

    State legislatures, I didn't research.
