More unresponsive nonsense. Government should not interfere in parents right to choose a physician for their child. Medical treatments are often very unpleasant. View any major surgery on youtube.

Trump's tweet was very effective. The now hysterical reaction to it proves it.

More emotional empty nonsense. The choice should be the parents.
Government death panels are not there help children.
Everyone knows that - which is why Trump's tweet was so effective,

Despicable of you to wish this on anyone but especially a baby...

.""""""The child cannot hear, see, move, or breathe on his own, suffers frequent seizures, and has irreversible brain damage at the cellular level. Even the American neurologist working with the family has conceded the treatment is unlikely to improve his condition; what is more likely is that Charlie is in pain."""

So you would be delighted to see this kid suffer more being moved and undergoing more futile treatments .....sickening.

But you are totally and completely UNRESPONSIVE to this baby's suffering ...unbelievable.....

    It effectively did what?

The baby is staying where it is....:)........the tweet didn't cure it or find a cure for it .......Trump drooled what his supporting haters want to hear and got applause from them because they seem to like the idea of a baby suffering...

Ad hominem nonsense deployed to justify government death panels. Not smart or effective.
See Trump's tweet for an example of how to effectively drive home a point.

The tweet focused attention on the irrational cruelty of government death panels. The whole world is watching - thanks to Trump's tweet.

Which makes Trump's tweet even more effective at exposing the irrational cruelty of government controlled healthcare and its death panels.

Focus: Trumps tweet focusing attention on the heartless irrational cruelty of a government death panel was very effective. It undermines his opposition. But then you clearly know that. ;-)

Right. The foremost expert in the field has agreed to treat this child. Is he uneducated too? Do you even comprehend how that sounds?

What a shocker you would celebrate the death of a child when the expert in the field is willing to treat him.

The tweet that Trump wrote. That's it. It was a kind gesture. That's all it was. It was "an action performed to convey one's feelings or intentions," or if you're a little more cynical, it was "an action performed for show in the knowledge that it will have no effect."

Take it however you prefer. Either way, it was a kind gesture.

I just find it hilarious how much time you're willing to put in, and judging from all the All-Caps and exclamation points in your responses, emotion you're willing to expel over the word "gesture."

All this effort, and it's still a kind gesture.

So, since you have no facts or compassion you keep calling posts THAT RESPOND to you , unresponsive....which shows you don't even know what unresponsive means.

So maybe you aren't without any compassion whatsoever , you just don't understand the posts with facts in them :)

Oh, another one who just skips the facts of what the doctors WHO ARE TREATING the baby say.....the baby has NO hope....it is blind and deaf and has no brain function...if it was old enough and lived in this country it would've voted for Trump

Yes, I will celebrate when this poor baby is allowed to die in peace instead of being slowly tortured to death........

    It was a kind gesture.

Ad hominem personal attacks are never responsive rebuttal in any rational discussion.

Fact: The Trump tweet offering a medical sanctuary from the UK/EU death panels to a family and their dying baby was very effective.

As usual Trump's 10 second tweet has distracted his opposition for days while exposing the penchant for mandated death - killing - that has become the hallmark for the corrupt Western political class and its minions. Every attack on Trump's tweet amplifies its effectiveness - its impact on public opinion.

The tweet was very effective. Trump's moves often resemble decisive Judo throws. It took seconds for Trump to tweet his offer of medical sanctuary from the UK/EU death panels.
Result, his opposition is on its back struggling to defend death panels for days as the whole world watches the family struggle to free their captive child from the clutches of the deadly corrupt EU elite political class. Every aspect of the controversy helps Trump and weakens his opposition,

You know, I'm wondering how ethical it is to treat a person who is brain dead? I mean, even if you can heal their body, you can't grow them a new brain.

Here in the states when brain death occurs, the doctor informs the family, asks if they can harvest their organs if they are viable, and the family pulls the plug.

All people are doing with this issue is turning it into a political football. Sorry, but politics should stay out of medicine, and if the doctors say that there is significant brain death that has occurred, the family should just pull the plug instead of hoping that their child will be anything more than a piece of meat kept alive by machines.
